I've noticed some freebies disappear, why is that? They are yours forever but some can no longer be downloaded, although they show up in the list still.Any way you can add a feature to auto-remove dead links or no longer accessible games?...unless I'm just getting weird errors.Nobody is complaining about free games (well, i wouldn't be surprised if they did), which is why I never mentioned this before. If I didn't download them that was my own fault, but having them still listed is a bit annoying.
This is why i hate digital downlaods and game clients and prefer the old dvd installers, your's to keep forever they claim, until the company goes out of business or decides you can't play them anymore, at least indiegala and gog allow you to download the installers to burn to a dvd, still frustrating if you used the client to install the game and it goes off site and you didn't download it.

It explains it all here About IndieGala Giveaways & Duplicate Steam Keys — IndieGala help & documentation portal 1.2 documentation
Basically there's Guaranteed and Non-Guaranteed giveaways and if it's a non Guaranteed they can't help you get a replacement or obligated to help if it is cancelled.
Additionally, if you get a dupe from the feudalife challenge (Got 1 last week) they are not providing replacements for those any more either.
I've very rarely seen a giveaway cancelled when clicking on one. They might already have an auto delete and the ones that are still there you have seen were recently
cancelled and haven't been pulled by the server yet. Either way its a minor nuisance, and maybe it's just IndieGala making us work a bit moreto get some freebies lol

I wouldn't recommend that dead links are removed automatically, unless this is optional. After all, I want to know what I've neglected to download. Apart from that, if I can't download something any more, that is indeed annoying.I've noticed some freebies disappear, why is that? They are yours forever but some can no longer be downloaded, although they show up in the list still.Any way you can add a feature to auto-remove dead links or no longer accessible games?...unless I'm just getting weird errors.Nobody is complaining about free games (well, i wouldn't be surprised if they did), which is why I never mentioned this before. If I didn't download them that was my own fault, but having them still listed is a bit annoying.
Fair enough point there, maybe an option to hide them instead?I wouldn't recommend that dead links are removed automatically, unless this is optional. After all, I want to know what I've neglected to download. Apart from that, if I can't download something any more, that is indeed annoying.
Shut up so crappy products are only free
There have been some pretty good titles among the freebies, like for example Leisure Suit Larry 1 & 2 and Figment.Shut up so crappy products are only free
I got Leisure Suit Magna Cum Lada (along with those), I loved getting back the original I played on DOS ages ago. There have been some pretty good titles among the freebies, like for example Leisure Suit Larry 1 & 2 and Figment.
