I missed that. I'll definitely check out how it works on PC
I've played both vic...and unfortunately the game wasn't designed around mobile...I also understand that most of the people testing are playing on mobile because its more convenient and they are doing us a favor (which I appreciate), but i have to take into consideration desktop as the main focus because well...its still a smut game and the reality is that most people that play it for that factor are likely not going to be using a mobile device.
Its really a coin flip, I'm trying to balance both without mangling every factor that was done for the design. If you can't read it enough to play it on mobile then I find it to be a serious enough issue for a change...but the balance between both is extremely difficult and thats why most devs give up on the mobile port or never even bother to make one at all.
I've actually considered making an entirely second base UI just for mobile (as it is, the text is set slightly larger and brighter), I insist on making it work for both--but it also forces me to make cut and kill decisions on alot of it or redesign things entirely....and I 'prefer' they are the same in both versions.
I also have to take into consideration HDR color on desktop (which I can't separate like mobile) and that makes everything BRIGHTER instead of darker, as well as the images stretching from the base 1080p visual to 4K with HDR.
ivo see's it at its default resolution, I see it at 4k with HDR on, and then theres mobile which I put on my spare phone and test as well...its not as simple as 'this is how it looks' is all i'm trying to say. There are at least 3 different visuals with different drawbacks and different hardware limitations that are based on ren'py and completely unpredictable.
I actually insist on keeping it mobile...regardless if I feel mobile NSFW makes little sense to ME personally, I know its how some people play...i'm already considering putting the game data into the cloud if it reaches maximum filesize and using a built in downloader that you make a separate app for.
So mobile feedback IS important to me...but I also need to consider the visual on all types of screens at once, and whats a design decision rather than just a problem.
