It's like his user ID number got changed somehow? 🤔

Maybe IndieGala deleted his old profile, and a new one was automatically generated? The new one says first giveaway created 18 Aug 2023, but that's obviously not the case.

No it was not.

Check the items in the description of the giveaway, and compare them with the items on the DLC's Steam page. They DO NOT match, plus PouffyPlacebo has a history of giving away cheap in-game codes marked as the most expensive giveaway available for the given game as a way to illegally gain more giveaway experience than he'd be eligible for.

Thinking of what happened some time ago with The Hidden And The Unknown i made this mail to IndieGala, if you want send it too so maybe something will be done.

Hi, sorry to bother, some time ago i contacted you for "The hidden and the unkhnown" fake giveaways that where used to scam other players and that worked cause now the game is not used anymore.

I write you again to ask to check fore some others giveaways that where used before and now took the place of that one.


If you go in the Giveaway section and sort the games for highest price first there are a lot of giveaways that are worth 80 and 160 Coins.

Those games are extreamely low effort extremely simple games made by putting together pre-existing assets or even doing assets flips of other games (taking other existing free games, changing the assets and selling them).

Most of those games are insanely overpriced games that before was less than 10$ on steam and most of the time discounted from 80% to 99% making them cost less than half dollar each, the newest one are sold at 190$ or more but are nearly always discounted at least of a 90%.

To add more those games can be found on other sites for cents and get users an immense amount of points spendig just few bucks.


Users that cosnistently do this are now few but are gradually increasing the amount of games used on the platform and expanding the number of users involved by making new accounts but also contacting existing users to sell they game to them (i was offered too months and months agobut refused).


I don't know if something can be done abouth this but i think the community will greatly appreciate any effort made.


I think some warning and\or banning to the biggest users that use this trick can really put a break on this type of scam.

I reported "Ascent Free-Roaming VR Experience" to Steam as a fraud for being an extremely low effort extremely overpriced game to scam users in site like IndieGala saying that this took the legacy of "The hidden And The Unknown".

Please do the same and report the users and the game not only here but directly on Steam (flagging the game as fraud) and to IndieGala Helpdesk with a mail, this can make real things happen to both the games and the cheaters.

@[MZK]Lightning, i have to check but some probably are users that won the games here but there are a lot of level 0.
As soon as i have some time i'll go on another ban spree but i am nearly out of slot, i'd have to also look for already banned or no more active users to free some space.
