Not really, more of accent on the troops/hero's. Where if you lose them town is doomed. I remember playing some small indie game like it but it was extremely short...

Hey guys, this may be a dumb question but is there a strategy game, where you have heroes and troops which you need to upgrade fight etc. and there is permadeath (optional but nice), town building is usually included but it is optional too? 🤔
