BMW had heated seats and steering wheels. Mercedes had increased acceleration. Tesla let you unlock more of the battery, so more range. All of these required a paid subscription. That isn't what I was talking about, but that is also bad. I'm not sure any of them actually did it, but they wanted to.

You can buy them for a few hundred on AliExpress. There are easier and cheaper ways of direct acquisition that don't leave a paper trail.
Thank you, yeah, both are really bad, especially considering how much they ask for a new car.

So recently a large majority of the videos I've watched are about handheld gaming PCs, they look so interesting.
While I'm interested in such devices, my main concern with every one of them is battery life. I really don't feel like buying something for 500 € or more that will allow me 2 hours of playtime before recharging.

Yeah, battery sucks. But it also depends on what you play, newer games will probably drain it quicker, or based on the settings you have, since some can use 15W/30W TDP for better performance. I don't like the pricing either, but what I really like about them is you don't have to buy the games again if you own them on PC, and yeah, of course, some work really bad, but older titles work great. They are great if you go somewhere and wanna play or even play in your bed, compared to sitting of a normal desk.

You can play on PC in bed with a controller. My PC is hooked up to my TV. I put over 2k hours into Fall Guys with that setup. The controls on a handheld are generally on the handheld, which is bulky, or has a small screen. If I need to kill time while out, I have my phone, and at home, my PC. So for me, I don't see the point. I understand Nintendo fanboys, and exclusivity etc. None of that appeals to me though.
