is ist no longer possibel to gift a GOG game? the key fails an i cant create the giveaway

Never tried myself, but cheating rule breakers like [MZK]Lightning make GAs for GOG games. Half of them seem to be for GOG. A simple way to prevent their creation would be to force the keys to be in Steam format.

It was never possible, making giveaways with GOG key was a breach of the system, maybe now IG blocked the insertion of non-steam keys?

I have seen some users doing strange things with GOG keys so this is probably the reason, the huge amount of malicious expired giveaway of the last months maybe stirred some trouble.

You also need to understand that if you make a givaway with a non-steam key the winner can activate it and leave a negative feedback cause, well, it's not a steam key.

The one that get reported get blocked.

For me i don't do neagative if the key work, no matter the platform, unless they are in-game codes.

And blacklisting is in the right of the maker, if you get a working key from GOG and leave a negative he can block you, but it still worse than blocking a fraud account that make fake giveaways or only use those cheep 160 coin games.
