Chrome stops this extension and asks you to remove it.
But you can force it to run again by enabling it again.
It seems OK, but how long will it run?

Guys, since the original developer abandoned the extension, I've partially revived it, making it compatible with newer Chrome engines (the reason why it was removed from the Chrome Web Store), and restored basic features of the giveaways page such as infinite scrolling and GalaSilver counter. Let me know if you're interested, and I'll look into the possibility to get a permission from the original author to share it, maybe on GitHub or even bring it back to the Chrome Web Store.

I've sent him a formal request via email, waiting for the response. If not, I'll try to contact him through Steam which is listed on his github page. I just don't want to share the extension without permission in order not to infringe copyrights.

Thanks to RedSparr0w, he has answered and gave me the permission. Now I'm working on the release version, catching bugs and restoring main functionality. IndieGala made a lot of changes to the site, so almost none of the extension's features worked

Is there any chance that it will work for Firefox too? I can't stand chrome after what they've done with extensions. Security extensions can't even do what they need to do to secure the browser now, so Firefox is the only way now if you're concerned about security.

Wow, today Google killed the various workarounds floating around: the extension stopped working again 
One workaround still works:
- First, this flag:
chrome://flags/#temporary-unexpire-flags-m137 [Enabled]
- Restart Chrome
- Then these ones:
chrome://flags/#extension-manifest-v2-deprecation-warning [Disabled]
chrome://flags/#extension-manifest-v2-deprecation-disabled [Disabled]
chrome://flags/#extension-manifest-v2-deprecation-unsupported [Disabled]
chrome://flags/#allow-legacy-mv2-extensions [Enabled]
- Then restart Chrome
- Enable the extension again if it's disabled.

There's no need to get all functionalities the original extension had at its release date btw...for example i'd be already happy about three hiding features (hide above my level, hide owned, hide entered) and GalaSilver counter; auto enter and infinite scroll will probably hammer their potato server too much and trigger the DDoS protection when there will be twice as much giveaways as now (i already manage to trigger it manually while clicking extra odds giveaways too fast). The only important thing right now is mv3 compatibility because sooner or later all mv2 workarounds will stop working.

Hey! No!
I found this one:
close Chrome, and then only start it with this commandline (or as a shortcut): "chrome.exe --disable-features=ExtensionManifestV2Unsupported,ExtensionManifestV2Disabled"
And, yes, one can enable this extension again thanks to this temporary workaround!
