I’ve been watching some YouTube videos about the new handhelds, and honestly, the Xbox Ally and Xbox Ally X are pretty disappointing. Even with the Windows advantage of having access to all the games, the FPS is still worse than the Steam Deck's Linux. After checking out most handhelds, I think even though some may offer slightly better FPS performance, the Steam Deck seems to consistently have the longest battery life.

While many companies have released numerous handhelds and versions, Valve has only launched two models, LCD and OLED, yet they maintain the upper hand in terms of quality.

You just answered your own question. They did it once and they did it right...rather than nickel and dime people with failures they update the firmware/software of the current system, likely until games require better hardware.

You named literally one game from the entire list. it will be cheaper to buy it alone on sale in Steam. don't get me wrong, since this is a game from ukrainian developers, I fully support your interest in it, but everything else on the list is 90% garbage.
I love MOW games, but they're just not worth it at the current price. Now that it's bundled for cheaper, and considering how it performed for the devs, it might even get cheaper in future bundles. I really hope they listen to the community and make the right choices for this game because it has the potential to thrive. With the right effort, even with some older or newer conflicts, people would love it.

Yeah, those "Xbox handhelds" take too long to set up and need so many accounts (Asus, Microsoft) just to use. If I remember correctly, I saw someone using a timer and speeding up the process, and it took about 1 hour and 20 minutes.

I'll stick to my cracked Nintendo DS with five classic consoles, takes about ten seconds, 30 if I have a particular ROM in mind and need to hunt

I much prefer a console for a handheld, I dont need that kind of shit when I'm using something because I'm on the move. Any other day I use a real PC.

that's why it doesn't work, because it's not an XBox.
but it's a good laptop without a keyboard, actually, just very expensive.
Yeah, not worth it with all the bugs... Sometimes in sleep mode, the touchscreen stops working, and the buttons become unresponsive, so you have to restart. It has Teams and Word, and sometimes when you get a notification, it will alt-tab you out of your game and into that, plus it uses resources, so the only fix is a restart.
