Is the extension trustable enough? I mean I don't want to make a giveaway and get a negative because it is not the expected game.
It gives an accurate activation message. The problem is that sometimes the activation message does not correspond to the game. In this case, it should be fine, but this used key: 8TARV-X0HLE-LRHPE says Over City, while the game is Panda Run. So you have to click on the website to see what game it is, not just rely on the activation message.

Never had that problem.
Also, the Steamdb extension works directly with Steam, which not only enhances Steam but it gives the name of the game right when you try to redeem the key.

I showed you a key that did. I've also seen it happen when they rename their game. Some names are used by multiple games too. They asked if you could trust it, and while the activation message displayed is accurate, you can't just go off that. You have to actually click to see what it is.

I'm not saying that it didn't happen to you, i'm saying it never happened to me.
