Maximum (or Maxwell) Effort...or frec was a typo lol.

What frequency? I didn't write any. I don't understand you.

I'll summarize:

We can know that the frequencies are lower than those of the Ryzen 8600g and Radeon 7600 because of the 30W and 110W power consumption. (Steam says they are 4.8 GHz & 2.45 GHz) (8600G = 5GHz & RX7600 = 165W & 2.65GHz)

The RX7600 has 2048SP, while this one only has 1792SP. That's 12.5% less.

They say it's semi-custom, but I find it strange that it has DDR5 and GDDR6 controllers. I wouldn't be surprised if they are reusing half-baked 6nm Navi33 from the RX7600 that they haven't sold, because AMD is experiencing record low GPU sales.

If it really is semi-custom, it will probably be 4nm (with some kind of new packaging like the AMD Halo), so it consumes less than RX7600, but even so, Steam says only 2.45GHz.

And the 8GB of vRAM tells us that it will have a 128b bus.

I said , in the best of cases, because instead of being an 8600G (with little cache3, 16MB, and worse performance than a Ryzen 7600),,, it could be something similar to Phoenix2 (Ryzen 8500G) that has 4 Zen4c cores, tight and hot, which means that they only support lower frequencies.
So, it's better if they are "normal" Zen4, from laptops.

To make it clearer:
Steam (year 2026) = Zen4 6cores 4.8GHz + Navi3 1792SP 2.45GHz & 128b to the RAM (~288GB/s)

Radeon RX 7600 (year 2023) = XXX + Navi3 2048SP 2.65GHz & 128b to the RAM (288GB/s)
Radeon RX6600xt (year 2021)= XXX + Navi2 2048SP 2.55GHz & 128b to the RAM (256GB/s)

PlayStation 5 (year 2020) = Zen2 8cores 3,5GHz + Navi2&3mixed 2304SP 2.2GHz & 256b to the RAM (448GB/s)

XBOX Serie X (year 2020) = Zen2 8cores 3,8GHz + Navi2 3328SP 1.8GHz & 320b to the RAM (560GB/s)

PlayStation 5 Pro (year 2024)= Zen2 8cores 3,8GHz + Navi2&3mixed 3840SP 2.2GHz & 256b to the RAM (576GB/s) + DDR5 controller (¿32b?)

AMD HALO (year 2025) = Zen5 16cores + Navi3.5 2560SP (1.3-¿2.9?GHz 45-120W) & 256b to the DDR5 (256GB/s)

So you were talking maxwell

Your a psychopath, even to me...and i'm a hardware buff

Cheers for being crazy 🍻

Thanks? :ROFLMAO:

I don't know all the numbers by heart, I look them up on the internet.
They're crazy... the people who write these kinds of websites, for example:
and others

Not me, I just read them sometimes. And I don't understand half of it, XD

Ya, thats too much information for my brain.. I just wanna know which processor go vroom

I think I just understood what it means to be talking Maxwell. Damn, that was hard! I don't spend all day watching news about🎺🍭trumpet singers. To me, Maxwell was just an "old guy" who gave his name to Nvidia GPUs.

I'm nowhere near the level of those websites; my knowledge is much more basic. But yes, I find those things entertaining, for example, knowing (without going into too much detail) that DDR7 does not use binary, it uses ternary (0 1 2) or electrically -1 0 1.
Nothing new: https://dev.to/buntine/the-balanced-ternary-machines-of-soviet-russia_ (I didn't know whether to include the link or not, because then they get too excited, XD).

It's not really useful to me, because I'm not going to manufacture memory modules, but I find these things interesting.

Don't feel bad, I looked up frequencies because I found that before while browsing and couldn't remember the name either

I figured if you were deep into it you would have got the maxwell comment and if not--then that answered my question.
DDR7 does not use binary, it uses ternary (0 1 2) or electrically -1 0 1.
Nothing new:
Its still in research supposedly and IMO its going to bomb as too error prone and expensive for standard ram, even if they do make it--it wont catch on. We use binary for a reason, on/off is the basis of all electrical signals and its a guaranteed state aside from 'well its dead' which would return the off signal obviously

For @contdejocuri-ded:

Maybe what I had in mind was longer, XD, or maybe I didn't use the right word
At that moment, I didn't plan on writing so much, but then I got carried away.

That's enough for today, I've written half a page with my boring thoughts, XD 🙋‍♂️
I'm...slightly interested, although its more complex than I would ever bother to dig into PC parts, I have a second sense it seems when I select my parts, probably becaise I absorb all the info that flies past me at all times from useless chatter and opinions to actual info from people who 'should' know like techpowerup. I have yet to make a bad part purchase unless it was generic trash with no high quality ones available (like my hard drive PCIe swap i've replaced lile 4 times, but it cost $20 and wont hurt my rig so 🤷‍♂️), Not a single part in my machine has ever died before I was able to safely replace it and 99% of the time I do it by choice and they outlive my expectations running good enough the whole time. I also don't buy anything but the absolute top tier when I do upgrade as well though. My intel os ancient but that SOB is still running good and still hangs tough enough to rin everything decently with the GPU picking up the slack. Another good example is my poor GPU, I bought the last good model by EVGA before NVIDIA locked the mining power (which is useful for other things as well) and EVGA decided to close shop...and I literally jist saw it on facebook and was like thats my next GPU without much thought.

One thing i'll NEVER forgive this cocksucker for is ruining that while I had a 10yr warranty on it. Even if I win the case i'm going to fuck him up jist for that fact alone...and his maintenance worker for the poison--so i' likely spending a few months in jail regardless then cause I don't just punch ppl anymore, I aim to shatter their face or break bones :ROFLMAO:

I'd bet the entire court winnings on me putting him in the hospital with one shot if I get a nice clean one before he sees it coming. I'm curious if you can utterly destroy bone with a good punch...and I aim to find out lol.

Dead again. Kick only lets you monetize if you have 25 subs, and that didn't happen.
Poor bastard...course his whole setup seems scabby to me so I don't really care either which way.

I'm just glad Patreon and Subscribestar are more lenient towards new creators--amazingly subscribestar was a bastard to sign up on but they havent given us any issues since even though it was a total dead zone till just recently.

I actually felt bad for ivo at first...and then I realized he has zero urge to be social even about his own game (writers block?) and decided it was...for the best from a team perspective.

Getting kicked off of kick...thats gotta hurt 😅
