I did that as a joke in our game...I don't even recall if its still in our help section skit, but I would never tell people I'd hate them or we would stop the game if nobody supports it...I do the opposite actually.

I see one game in particular, actually semi decent for just the porn factor...they have a note about releases on their sites that says the next release will be when they get so many subscribers...that message pisses me off every single time I read it. Does it work? I couldn't tell you...but its slimy. Its not a donation or support if you insist upon it...thats like shutting off someones electricity if the rent is late, not only illegal, but a shitty way to handle business and even more shitty on a personal level.

Did I mention it felt scabby?
If you mean HS, I'm not sure how. You get free stuff, or you did. Now it requires way more effort than I'm prepared to put in to get anything at all.
And I have NEVER seen him before that video :ROFLMAO:
It's a different guy, I just thought it was funny. Also, Kick is new, so it's an uphill battle for any new player to take out the established players. It happens though, being first doesn't guarantee success.

Its that way in everything...we'll be fighting uphill for quite awhile...the only difference I believe will help is most VN creators get lazy and comfortable--majorly delayed releases, lack of interaction with the fans or outright becoming s ghost entirely. I see it like any job in life...the people make the business, even the biggest giant can fall if people decide not to pay them anymore...someones always paying the bills and if they all turn on you then you cant pay the bills.

But more than that--we're gaming anyways...we spend our free time here bullshiting about the same stuff and plotting the next release...why not involve the crowd if they want to join in...as long as we're not getting trolled free and paid members alike are welcome to come along and hang out 🤷‍♂️ we made the game because we love gaming, not for money or an internet power trip  I got enough computer skills to be on one of those all day long almost snywhere on the web if I cared enough to bother heh

Yes, although in my case I was talking about platforms. You can only really watch one stream at a time, and when it comes to live, Twitch is king. With games it's a little different. People can play multiple games, so it's not really winner takes all.

Not sure if you know what Nekopara is, but I got Nekopara at home recently. I don't think the real thing has anything to worry about.

But people subacribing to a game is like subscribing to twitch, you follow whos game you enjoy, nobody is possible subbing to every game they just 'play', its different than a one time purchase.

I know I wouldnt bother unless I enjoyed the game and actually found the dev(s) laid back enough to chill and talk with 🤷‍♂️ but thats just me

If it were about money, I would have given up six months ago. Of course, I would like our game to be profitable, but that's simply because it would allow me more time to work on it.
Not to mention it shows people are playing it and enjoying it heh.

I mean I started it knowing I was likely gonna be homeless or in jail before it made money with the intention of you hopefully making money down the road by finishing it :ROFLMAO: I obviously didnt give a fuck about the cash

Sure, but you can sub to multiple channels on Twitch. Backing a game is kind of like Kickstarter. You do it to support the devs, and continue progress on the game. Then there are commissions. I've seen people pay for mods, and to get them to add quests, or NPCs, to the mod. That's part support, and part getting your ideas into the game.

Well...due to ivo's story deiven madness (or driven mad by the story?) commissions are out, I can barely get him to let me add changes to it or make side content :ROFLMAO: which is why I took my DAZ learning and decided to start working on a little side project.

Learning to help him was nearly pointless without an online asset server to just render his scenes when I had spare time and do some minor corrections.. for a quiet guy he is a stubborn mule about that story....god knows how long he's been plotting this idea before I even knew about it--nevermind before he actuallly attempted it.

As much as I make jokes about it...its the reason I jumped onboard this project really, he has a creative passion and drive you rarely see, the same I had when I wanted to make an RPG back when I first learned to program to do just that....I respect it completely and just do whatever I can in other areas or with the social aspect and try to brainstorm new ideas yada yada.

You just reminded me though we were supposed to be doing polls and letting subscribers choose characters for bonus content eventually, none on our current tiers I dont think...but I almost forgot about it entitely because we have no high tier subs except gifts given to ppl

About a week before I told you I'm planning to make AVN.

I knew I wanted to make AVN, but didn't know what it would be about. Then, while doing something probably completely unrelated, the beginning of the plot formed in my mind and by having the beginning, I knew the possible endings.

Then, from time to time, some scenes pop up in my head and I try to include them in the main plot. So, my story is like connecting dots and some of those dots are added as I progress with the story-

For the most part, I don't know what will happen in the story at a certain point. Sometimes I surprise even myself with the way my story goes. There are some mental blocks from time to time - how to get from point A, I already wrote, to point B I envisioned maybe a month ago, but I know I'll find the "right path" for the story flow. My main concern is checking details for any possible plot holes - everything else comes naturally.

So, even some scenes I really like (Adrian talking with "Anya" in his room, the whole sacrifice scene...), they're created out of thin air at that moment. Even some important plot elements are made that way. 🤷‍♂️

questions like "WHEN THE NEXT CHAPTER COMES OUT, I WANT TO KNOW MORE ABOUT THAT NICE GREEN YOUNG MAN IN THE FOREST" should at least provide a little moral support :(
I NEED IT FASTER.
Sorry.
By the way, I really liked the new gallery. The first time I went in, it was a very pleasant surprise.
Of the minuses: there's still not enough information for me, I understand that most likely the problem is me (I'm bad at remembering people's names IRL), but I just can't remember all the characters, some people appear and appear, and I can't understand if it's someone new again, or we've met before :( Either there are already a little too many of them, or I can't remember them all. This time three new ones appeared? (Plus NICE GREEN YOUNG MAN IN THE FOREST. Sorry if it's a lady, but fetish fanservice won't invent itself).

Logitech mice often develop an issue where, after just 1–2 years, they unfortunately start double-clicking.
For @contdejocuri-ded:

Maybe what I had in mind was longer, XD, or maybe I didn't use the right word
At that moment, I didn't plan on writing so much, but then I got carried away.

That's enough for today, I've written half a page with my boring thoughts, XD 🙋‍♂️

Nitrous is still working on Bios, so it will be included in one of the next releases.
I don't think there are any new characters introduced in this chapter, just some of the characters that haven't had so much "screen time" so far - apart from the flashback scenes, but those characters are self-explanatory.

Even the Grinch you mentioned was already present, with his extended family, but when the game updates are released a couple of months apart, it's hard to remember everyone and everything. I get that. 🤷‍♂️

Glad you liked it.

Only the wireless versions and usually the lnes that recharge...been using them my whole life. I have a brand new ergo one that cost me like $100 a few months ago and the left clock already fails most of the time, i'm about to try returning it but i'm not sure I even have the box after the move.
