In the interview, he said his mother always taught him that Idle hands are the devil's workshop, so, as a devout believer, he decided his hands would never be idle.

New information about the Epic List, now there are two lists, the one above and another from a Chinese source (people are saying the Chinese one is more believable).
It goes like this (in bold is the list above):

Dec 11 - Hogwarts Legacy Hogwarts Legacy
Dec 18 - Jurassic Park 2 BioMenace Remaster
Dec 19 - Desperados 3 Commandos 3
Dec 20 - Total War: Warhammer Total War: Warhammer 2
Dec 21 - Tropico 5 Tropico 5
Dec 22 - Chicken Police - Paint It Red! Chicken Police - Paint It Red!
Dec 23 - Loop Hero Loop Hero
Dec 24 - Lego Batman Lego Batman Trilogy
Dec 25 - Commander Keen Mafia 2: Definitive Edition
Dec 26 - Farming Simulator 2022 Farming Simulator 2022
Dec 27 - Slime Rancher 2 Slime Rancher
Dec 28 - Terraria Terraria / Call of Cthulhu
Dec 29 - Detroit: Become Human Gord
Dec 30 - Mortal Kombat 11 MK
Dec 31 - Red Dead Remdemption Red Dead Redemption: Online
Dec 01 - ??? ???

Notes:
> BioMenace Remaster is indeed released on the 18th and it's not the first time Epic gives a release game for free
> 2 games change between sequel and original (Warhammer to Warhammer 2, and Slime Rancher 2 to Slime Rancher)
> On the 28th, the Chinese source gives 2 games
> Both say Red Dead Redemption, but the Chinese one state that is the online and not the single player, which makes sense since RDR2 SP is on sale and the online isn't.
> Commander Keen on Christmas day would be the worst giveaway of all time, nothing against Keen but it's game from 1990.
> Same games are the same on both lists
> On the Chinese, it just say MK

If any of the lists is true, i have 3 of the games on the above list (Jurassic, Loop and Farming) and 6 on the Chinese one (Loop, Commandos 3, Farming, Cthulhu, Slime and Mafia 2)

Every game by them is a masterpiece since the very first one, Omikron: Nomad Soul, which features David Bowie with a couple of original songs composed for the game. Fahrenheit and Heavy Rain are still my favourites.
I agree with you about every game except Heavy Rain, this game is as stupid and mindless as can be, it hurts to play. The game mechanics and gameplay are ok, but the plot and character actions are so stupid that it's simply unbearable.

+100500 Knowing how police work, i also wanted to laugh how stupid that drama was. Like a criminal distantly controlling what line mc is driving simply using GPS? No f way.
Their games tend to have serious problems storywise. Fahrengeit also starts as a very good detective and then simply dives into some fantastic bullshit like conspiracies, matrix etc.
But i do respect Quantic because they truly try to make games as a movies. And they manage to do it at least 50% good.
PS - I remembered that in reviews people said that Heavy Rain was the only game at that time that their families liked to watch on TV while someone played. It was like a movie for all.
ps2 - I finally finished The Wire, and i agree what others say in reviews that it is the best police series in the world. Def recommend for those who want to see real police work, life and problems. Now rewatching episodes with creators comments and it is still interesting

Of course, it happens that someone likes something and someone doesn't, I'm currently going through about the same situation, a kind person at steamgifts gave me Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, the bad game that everyone hates, the one that doesn't sell very well even with a -95% discount, yes, and this game is simply wonderful and beautiful. Seriously. No kidding. I enjoy every second of the story mode (except for the last boss, it was lazy).
Four dumb characters who interact well with each other, who are funny and interesting, a bunch of cutscenes for a well-written story, simple and understandable gameplay - everything is good here, the only mistake was to call this game a continuation of the Arkham series. Which is funny, because it doesn't even really work here - the whole connection is essentially the fate of one of the side characters (side!), you need to know what happened to her in Arkham Knight, but at the same time the game does not take into account the fate of the other. Well, plus one joke from Captain Boomerang about the Riddler's riddles. That's it! Well, this is actually a different universe altogether, a completely different gameplay, and position the game correctly and let people play it calmly, but they decided to sell the game to an already prepared audience, brought the wrong product that was expected from them, and received a mountain of hate. (And no one here commits illogical acts, if Bats deserves a bullet in the head, well, you saw the title...)

I have won it on Steamgifts too, and i like it a lot. A little messy sometimes, but it's ok. And the dialogues and banters are really great.
