Their games tend to have serious problems storywise. Fahrengeit also starts as a very good detective and then simply dives into some fantastic bullshit like conspiracies, matrix etc.
But i do respect Quantic because they truly try to make games as a movies. And they manage to do it at least 50% good.
PS - I remembered that in reviews people said that Heavy Rain was the only game at that time that their families liked to watch on TV while someone played. It was like a movie for all.
ps2 - I finally finished The Wire, and i agree what others say in reviews that it is the best police series in the world. Def recommend for those who want to see real police work, life and problems. Now rewatching episodes with creators comments and it is still interesting

Yeah, some games are weird. I understand when some people don't like a particular title - even when the majority don't like it. I absolutely love Alpha Protocol, and that game had mixed reviews when released.

And sometimes it's even weirder. The VtM Bloodlines 2... The game is a terrible RPG - well, it's not an RPG at all - with the most generic sidequests, every playthrough is almost the same, no matter Nomad's background or the clan, and yet I'm at my third playthrough... Basically, I'm replaying it because I'm using different clans and only the disciplines of that clan in that particular playthrough. 🤷‍♂️

I guess I just miss anything made in World of Darkness settings. I could play this or replay VtM Requiem or VtM Bloodlines 1 (which I'll probably do at some point, for a hundredth time) or text-based VtM games. Some of the new Choice of Games titles based on World of Darkness (Werewolf Apocalypse series and Hunter the Reckoning series) are overpriced, and I don't feel like paying $15 for a text game that I'll finish in a few hours.

I have a daily snowflake on AWA giving me DRP daily, so I assume most locations will get daily ARP or get fucked :ROFLMAO: but just a heads up.

Speaking of wasting money, I just had my backup Logitech trackball die...same fucking button, same fucking issue. I couldnt even believe my bad luck. Unfortunately with the court stuff on the table I didnt even bother trying a repair I just replaced it with another one overnight.

And the Amazon shipper decided to package a mouse that looks like it had wine spilled on it, guess i'm using it for a frw days and THEN sending it back as a thanks for being a dick.

EDIT:

Returned it, trashed the seller, bought a no-name brand with a better ergonomic stand for a quarter of the price, fuck logitech and its cheap garbage. Never again.
