Sadly true, maybe the game was better for me because I did all the missing side content without any assassins before following the main game, which was quite a challenge in itself. Some of the side content was better than the story.I liked the first game because I expected much less, but for the most part it was monotonous and repetitive: I arrived in the city, did three missions, opened access to the murder, completed it. And so on 10 times.
I really liked the second game because this monotony was replaced by the fact that now it is a solid plot and each individual mission makes sense and tells something new. Although graphically it somehow took a small step back.
The third (Bros) simply answered all the questions that remained about the gameplay and is just a full-fledged interesting game that constantly knows what to do with you, it does not feel and does not look like it has aged. Everything is done well. Apart from the broken small mechanics (you can get off the horse only to immediately get on it automatically, it is very annoying), and
For people like me who wanted the extra challengeI do not know why the additional condition for completing missions at 100% was added, the game is very-very good.
I had more problems with the horse in part II, but I also played these on playstation
If I'm following your games right your talking about the auditore game as the third in forenza (idk if i'm spelling that right)...this is the defining game for many players of the series, unfortunately probably the best you'll ever play in terms of story although some of the others like creed III and black flag have a mixed crowd, I found black flag to be a filler with the boat concept myself and part 3 just didnt mesh well for me with the indian heritage for some reason...likely because I'm actually indian and I've been in some of the locations personally before.
I think that was a definitive review of the trilogy right there though. Spot on from someone who played them recently
