So I just tried Trails Beyond the Horizon...I'm not particularly thrilled with the characters battle abilities yet--but I never am at the beggining of thesee games being real and I'm sure the demo denies you the real nasty ones intentionally...plus I didnt get very far (yet)
What I did feel was worth mentioning was this game is extremely well optimized, even with Warframe running in the background my GPU didnt even break a color changing sweat from its cool temp at menus, cutscenes, or during gameplay...one of the few modern games I can actually say this about, I'm pretty sure it didn't have much more load than the old remake of Trails From Zero and at 5.10 GB in size, most putters should be able to run this on decent settings--so if anyone ever wanted to get their feet wet in the series without commiting (demos for these are rare), heres your chance to try out one of the better JRPG series, although I havent played this one to speak for it fully...it started off with turn based combat (and obviously has an alternative--I believe this game is where the new Trails in the Sky gets its disaster of a concept), but this one seems to leave turn base as its default just having more movement in the combat area so it was already 'more' like the classics than Sky 1st is and this was how the game was originally designed, not an addition later.
Just wanted to say most people should be able to handle this demo if they have interest in the series...because I'm not sure if they'll keep it up forever, i'll give a better view of it later on in the next few days when I really dig into it..but its there and it runs damn smooth on low specs.
