Well some clarification here...its not really me although I made him from parts of my life an style mixed with fonz from happy days because my first post on our subscriber sites made a joke about me being "The Dev, like The Dude or The Fonz, but cooler." and The Dev kind of stuck immediately even with the small fanbase we had/have

Also the little shorts or skits we put in the game anywhere that was generalized like the About section or End Credits are based on me and Ivo's funny or ridiculous conversations while we're working on the game, so we decided to make something similar to Jay and Bob or other duo's that made real life the joke...so me being my crazy self decided to go with a character that fit me rather than a total joke with nothing in common.

In a sense its another joke, because I'm sure the character will get mocked or lashed at eventually during the game...so without them knowing it I set fans up to slap my character and basically slap my digital projection of myself

Its all in good fun...I won't even take offense if they do, I'll just laugh right along with them.
