What is GalaSilver?

I have a collection of GalaSilver, but I have no idea what it is used for. The FAQ section has 4 pages describing ways GalaSilver can be gained (creating auctions, converting credit, wheel, etc.). But I've been looking all around to try and figure out what kind of things it is supposed to be used on.

OK, I found that you can use it to enter Giveaways, and it is on the FAQ, but on the FAQ, it is "silver", not "GalaSilver".

Questions:
1) Any way the FAQ could be updated to be worded consistently so a search on "GalaSilver" can find it? Consistency helps in finding information.
2) Is there anything else it is spent on? Not that there needs to be anything else, just trying to fully understand it.
