I haven't listened to Green Day in 20 years. That song is a typical example, although I don't like this video MIX. The bass line, which is what matters, doesn't sound right; it should be played on a cello or double bass. Something like this.

Yes, there are many, although in reality they are a very small minority, half of the songs in the world use the same 4 chords. I prefer Pachi's eight. 8 better than 4
