Actually its mostly code and backups of files and drivers, although there was a few TB of smut there too :ROFLMAO:

Hell our game is nearly 2GB before removing my own images and shit used for social media, my folder of renders is literally like 334 GB and barely any of them were used in the actual game...suppose that technically counts as porn

Its from 2000 dude :ROFLMAO:

In 2000 we were still dealing with files the size of text files for most things--including video quality and music. My original IBM with the floppy is from somewhere around that time.
It doesn't matter when it was. We all know how every new version of the OS, new games and software are always bigger and bigger. You don't need to be Einstein to realise you'll need bigger and bigger HDDs / SSDs.

This guy reminds me of the 19th-century US Postal Service manager who said that flights are just a gimmick and they'll never have a practical use.

I was making programs like download managers at the time and even I didn't expect those limits to skyrocket to such an extreme...I mean we had like a HUGE leap in data sizes between then and now, to the point even the programming languages werent designed for them properly yet. You can't really blame the guy in this case when even the people making the software didn't take it into account  I get your point but this was actually a valid theory at the time...and a 75GB hdd was likely monstrous...we didnt even have SSDs yet for home use IIRC.
