There is alot of stupid people in the this comment section trying to play this on steam.

Those comments are from almost a year ago, when the game was given away here for the first time it included a file that made the Steam Client launch automatically when people tried to run the game, because the files were copied directly from a Steam installation of the game. People were not intentionally trying to play this on Steam. The issue was resolved after those comments were posted (comment by Die Young: "This got updated, should be working now.").
