Same issue with me. If I don't move at all, I don't get a error, I just lose. But if I try to do it, "race could not be confirmed"

but if u play unauthorized as guest everything works just fine

Can confirm, playing as guest lets you finish the game, playing while logged in does not. At this point I am convinced that this is deliberate.

I agree with all these comments that although this minigame was fine yesterday. It sure took a nose dive into constant "Race could not be confirmed" where it became a sinkhole for galasilver.

The one inside the mini game. I'm already logged into the website and clicking Login within the mini game just redirects to my library webpage. Nothing changed within the mini game, its options are still Login | Play guest.

Can't say for certain, but if you try on a different browser or incognito, do you get the same issue?

It has been fixed, and I’m now able to play through to the end.
The initial loading took a long time, with the screen remaining completely black, but once it finished loading, everything seemed to run without any issues.
That said, I simply find this game quite difficult; I’ve played about 15 times and only managed to reach 2nd place once.

Tried it on 2 different browsers, both incognito and not each, still the same issue. I'm guessing it's account-specific problem, not being able to log into the mini game.

I got it to work but I always only rank 4th, it's just button mashing. Maybe someone who has a better keyboard or program and/or can finger twitch better can get anything.

I think there is a randomized slowing down at the beginning so that it becomes impossible to get the second place in some races. I sometimes go around 11.00 and a bit lower even, while sometimes it becomes impossible to get below 11.40
