Have you seen the
train from Spain on the news?
All trains in Spain are running at reduced speeds and braking in many areas to avoid derailing. Those bastards politicians appoint their mates and whores(literally) as railway advisers. It’s been in the hands of the courts for a year.
Those bastard politicians have forced us to buy and carry this shit GPS tracking device (Baliza V16 DGT), linked to a mobile network, in every car.
But then on the trains they’ve got a medieval tracking system – no GPS and no information on where other trains are. And to top it all, it breaks down all the time. So when it failed today, the trains in that area came to a standstill. The drivers rang the control centre, and were told:
"Restart the computer in manual mode and drive at full speed", blind.
Other train has called again, saying, “Listen, this thing won’t restart; it’s not working.” The control centre staff haven’t done anything, and five minutes later, another train came along at 200 km/h, blind, and crashed into the back of it.
Nine months ago, a train derailed at 250 km/h because the tracks are misaligned and warped, causing trains to bounce until they come off the rails (the track-repair machinery is out of order, since always);
50 people died, and in today’s accident, another
70 or 80 have died.
