Giveaway of a game that is no longer functional because its servers were shut down.

Usually, games like this are giveaway for the trading cards that Steam gives you for playing the game. Currently, the trading cards can only be accessed by activating the game's CD Key.

If you're not interested, you can easily skip it.

You can still get cards from it? Maybe using ArchiSteamFarm?

does the GOG key allow to create as giveaway? if allow can show description about 1 sentences for the giveaway? many GOG keys giveaway now and every month will have new game added. sometimes didn't click in check the description, points waste to join those GOG giveaway. now everyday need spent more time click 1 by 1 for those new fresh game appear on the list to check whether the giveaway is it for GOG or not

No, now only Steam Keys can be used for giveaways, if you try to use a key made in another way it won't let you complete the action.

If you make the giveaway with workaround (for GOG making a "fake" steam ley adding the two "-" and adding the last 3 pieces of the code in the description) if it get reported the giveaway will be vblocke, clicking on ot will say "giveaway no more available".
For giveaways that become this way there will be NO winner, everyone who entered it lose they coins, the one who made the giveaway will NOT receive any point and the key will be lost unless the maker havea backup.

Plus, anyone winning a GOG giveaway can get the key and leave a negative feedback.

ok. understand. i just hope maybe add some filtering like description not allow put word "gog" or penalty on user to prevent user keep on create those giveaway. when new month coming i didn't check which gog going to send free key to those player who subscribed prime on twitch or somewhere platform. i will accidently entered those giveaway and wasted my points. previously less have gog key on ig but now many user created giveaway with gog key here. lol

Another problem with GOG giveaways is that GOG does not have the Apple/Mac version of some games available on their service like Steam does, which really irks me.
