Hi everyone, my dear Gamers Lair housemates and those who don't know me at all
This thread is some kind of a gamer's diary.
I'll post here info about games I'm playing or have completed at the moment or not long ago (with interesting pieces of info and screenshots, yeah).
Feel free to react or ask any question, be polite and remember - it's, more or less, just a diary.

Few days ago have completed two NES games - AV Poker and Peek-A-Boo Poker.

To be honest, it's just of the thousands strip poker games for every gaming platform.
To be COMPLETELY honest, those are two version of the same game
The only differences are:

• girls' names
• girls' faces, kinda

The gameplay itself is pretty much generic, of course...

...but who're here to play some cards, seriously?
If you are a fan of smutty games with a neat design and/or animation, like I am, I can't say it's a masterpiece or something but at least it's funny enough. Alas, if you indeed want to play any of those, I'd strongly consider to choose the english one 'cause some (only two of 'em, actually) of the reward pics in AV Poker look outright broken instead of the proper ones from Peek-A-Boo Poker:

I've completed both games using save states in the emulator, but if you even lazier than me, you can use one of the following title screen codes, that will give you the ability to look at the reward pics without actually playing the game (as far as BootlegGames Wiki's concerned):

Select, Start, A, Up, B, Down (slideshow mode)
A, A, Up, B, Down (manual mode)

Next in line for me, I guess, should be 撲克精靈 (transliterates as "Poker Jingling") , 'cause both those games were, in fact, just the derivatives of that one.

Interestingly enough, the original chinese game had different, less suggestive reward pics all together, so...to be continued..?

Loaded up Guilty Gear XX #RELOAD: Midnight Carnival today just to realize that I haven't activated the auto-save future last time (yeah, all the previous progress was last, thanks God there wasn't too much of it in the first place)...

Completed Story Mode with Sol-Badguy twice, first the normal way, second to get the third ending (yeah, there're multiple endings) by winning a match with Millia Rage with a Time Up. That was a minor pain in the ass...

Got some funny dialogue with Slayer in the end

I guess I'll try to get the second ending (I need to win 5 rounds for less than 120 seconds, for God sake!!...)

EDIT: Found out that I need Dizzy's Ending #2 to get Sol's Ending #2. F*CK! Oh well...

it's also has the most awesome ost in the genre, interesting characters design, PERFECT balance and etc.

Getting Dizzy's Ending #2 was too hard (you need to win a round against the most annoying boss in fighting games EVER, PERIOD, and if you lose you'll get Ending #1...so every time it's GO FROM THE START!!AAAAAAAAAAAARGHHH!!), so I've decided to play some Arcade Mode with Dizzy to get some artwork and to get a grip on her mechanics...
To tell the truth, I've never main'd Dizzy (or Axl Law for that same reason) 'cause they have the most ridiculous overdrives (special attacks that use your power gauge, they're marked green in the command list) from the whole rooster. Like... who the fuck can just do this in the middle of the fight??

The only one I can do is the first one, and even that gives me the creeps((
I can do the third one (looks really amazing when you pull it off), but only in training, for some reason. Maybe 'cause in Training Mode no one kicks your ass and there's no stress of losing the freakin' round. I guess...
Well, after like 20 or so deaths ('cause Arcade Mode's I-No is one hell of a pain in the ass!!) I've got my artwork and the highscore:

Now, I'll try the Story Mode again a couple of times, just to feel despair and agony...'cause I-No, yeah...
And then I'll go to sleep, I guess

Got some neat highscore in the M.O.M. Mode (it's hard to explain, you should play by yourself to understand, but it's somewhat akin to the standard Survival) while playing as Sol...))

Could stand only 11 fights though...
