that's amazing!)
meh, that's 2.5D (like Doom), also the gameplay/levels are pretty boring, while in the previous game it was dynamic and interesting)Nooooooooooooobbbbbb!!!!!
Oldschool b&w R-Type clone?Cool I didn't know that game,

Simple little arcade game, where you're controlling a giant gorilla jumping around the building, throwing rocks at enemies (cops, firemen, soldiers, hunters, spies, planes and helicopters) and trying to stay alive to save some pretty damsels in distress all around the world. Even though all you can do is pressing 5 to make your character change direction, the game is pretty much addictive, so don't be surprised if at one moment you'll find yourself not able to quit until you storm through all the six cities (which are New York, Tokyo, London, Paris, Rome and Moscow) and get all the golden bananas for making a big score.Title: Gorilla Rampage

Aside from the Story Mode (there're even some funny dialogues with game's bosses between levels) there's also a Quick Game which is essentially a survival mode, where the only thing matters is how many storeys you've managed to overcome in one piece.
My own record is 42 at the time of writing, good luck to beat it![]()
Ehh, not really.Nice it is remake of old Rampage arcade

My personal highscores:
- Almost all challenges are the same throughout all three games, so if you had some troubles while doing challenges in the original game or it's Christmas version, just find the same challenge in the 2007 version and actually watch how to do the trick. I was never as glad with a company reusing content in it's games.
- If while in Tournament mode you see that you're about to lose (the match itself or one of the challenges) just click right soft-key and choose to restart (for the matches) or go the main menu and then comeback (for the challenges) - you'll loose no money you've bet and/or you'll still have the maximum prize for the challenge intact.

yeah, and that's not all of 'em, there was also Midnight Pool 3D (more or less just a 3D rendition of the 2007 game), Midnight Pool 2, 3 and...maybe 4, I don't really remember.)) I'll add some info on those after I'll complete the third one.I think I have played one of those but I don't remember which one. The games where you don't have to have to play in real time or with timer were the best for me, for example S-RPG turns games.
I like how those 3 pool games have the in the main menu the more of the same image.Anyway great games to pass the time!

Pretty simple (aside from a few challenges that drew me crazy) and colorful pool game.
You can choose one one of the characters and play either Tournament (compete multiple characters for the grand prize of $5000), Quick Game (one-off match, just to kill time), do some Challenges (in this mode you can't loose your money if you miss the objective, keep this in mind) or even play Versus with your friend on the same cell phone on turn-based basis (yeah, no bluetooth multyplayer yet, sorry).
No mater what mode you choose to play, there're three variants of pool itself: 8-Ball (UK rulles), 8-Balls (US rulles) and 9-Balls.
Every time you beat someone in Tournament mode that character and his/her challenge will be unlocked in the main menu.
The characters differs only visually and add nothing new to the gameplay itself, unfortunately.

All the modes and characters are the same, but the portraits and backgrounds got a little holiday touch. Still a colorful game.
A year later though...

First things first - the game looks amazing! All the characters got new, more realistic GTA Vice City style portraits, and there's also a bunch of new characters too.
Gameplaywise it's pretty much the same game but with some twists and turns.
For example, the game has a shop now, where you can buy a new cue stick or customize already owned one. And if customize option is almost completely useless ('cause for the most part you can't even see your cue stick's handle), you can actually influence the gameplay by saving your win money and buying the most expansive one in the list 'cause it has the increased accuracy which will help you in-game notably.
Other neat addition to the old formula is that you can now actually see how the god damn challenges are can be done. Yeah, if you miss the challenge's objective a 4-5 times in corespondent mode, the challenger herself will ask if you want some help and show the proper way to complete the challenge.

So, the Street Fighter II port for the mobile phones. What can go wrong, right?Title: Street Fighter II
Genre: fighting
Developer: CAPCOM
Year: 2006
Pretty on the outside but not very tasty on the inside,
leaves much to be desired with things it doesn't translate from the OG game.
But if you think that this is a bad game, just don't...
At least it's better than the MIDP Street Fighter, I'll give 'em that.
well, that's not the kind of games/platform we're talking about here...The one game that I have been playing lately on my mobile phone is Free Fire.
Nice! I think I never played there. From the screenshots it looked good with original graphic, the vibration feature should be cool.don't go out, 'cause there's a FIGHTER on the STREET!!
Okay-okay, I'll cut it out...
I think, everyone here know already what a phenomenon CAPCOM's Street Fighter series was at the time of it's release.
But did you knew that there was multiple mobile ports of that game series throughout 2000's?
The answer lies in the heart of battle..!

As a faithful port of the arcade original, the game has all of the eight OG combatants to choose from.
Controls are...strange. You can do supers with the button combination or at the same time just in one click.
In the Options menu you can set the difficulty level (Easy/Normal/Hard), sound volume (from OFF to 5), change the language of the menus or choose your control type, also you can enable/disable Auto Blocking during the fight and Vibration to feel every hit you miss from your opponent.
Just like in the original game, after the eight combatants (yap, including you yourself) defeated there're Four Kings of Shadaloo. Sadly, though, it's a port of the original Street Fighter II, so you can't play as any of the boss-characters.
The only problem I have with this version of SFII is that every battle take place at the same location and the music theme is connected to the character you've chosen, not the opponent, so it can become pretty annoying in no time.
Overall though the port is pretty much can give you a few hours of pleasure and...frustration ('cause M.Bison is a, even on EASY difficulty level!), just like in the old times.
VERDICT:
A year later CAPCOM collaborated with Glu Mobile (previously known as SORRENT) to release...Street Fighter II on mobiles, again.Title: Street Fighter II: The World Warrior

Well, I'll edit my review 'cause after replaying it side by side with the next one, I don't think I've made that game justice...Nice! I think I never played there. From the screenshots it looked good with original graphic, the vibration feature should be cool.![]()
I can see they made a lot of developments in this version, on mobile version they had to cut something to make it fit it but the first one you reviewed with only one music could be boring even if Ryu's theme it is great and I love it, but Ken them it is the best for meSTREET FIGHTER II: THE WORLD WARRIOR

A year later CAPCOM collaborated with Glu Mobile (previously known as SORRENT) to release...Street Fighter II on mobiles, again.
On the first glance it's almost the same game, alas called just like it's arcade counterpart this time, but there's more than meet the eye.
Controls are revamped to feel more like in the OG game - there're now three punches and three kicks (light, medium and strong), no single button supers and you can't change your controls scheme. Sadly though, the Auto-Blocking option had to say pa-pa, for some reason.
Sprites are a bit bigger (also the new font's looking much better), but the game itself not suffering from this and even plays at normal speed instead of the dragging pace of the previous port.
The game now have Auto-Save future that gives you the ability to complete it in multiple runs through the LOAD GAME option.
The difficulty level system has also been changed, and now it's a grid from 1 to 7 instead of just plain EASY/NORMAL/HARD.
You still can choose any of the eight characters and the Four Kings of Shadaloo are still non-playable, but at least you don't need to fight your "evil doppelganger" in the tournament anymore. And when the tournament is completed you're not only get a high score (well, if you beat the game at the 1-2 difficulty level than yes, it's just a high score and the message "Why don't you try a harder mode?"), but a proper ending for each of the eight bellowed characters.
The best part is, as you can see on screenshots, that every fight-off has the proper background tied to your opponent, and it's even playing corresponding opponent's music themes instead of Ryu's theme all the time. Hell, this port is FULL of music: there're corresponding tunes for the title screen, character select, battle's intro and outro, and even the CAPCOM's logo has it's tune from the old days!
All in all, it's a FAR BETTER port of the original universally acclaimed arcade game, so we all can say thanks to the guys from CAPCOM and Glu Mobile for trying a little bit harder this time around.![]()
