Sorry, this is my first giveaway. I'm using a Steam gift link, but Indiegala is showing the Serial as "Not guaranteed" on my giveaway page.

That seems unexpected, based on what I was reading on the setup page.

Will I need to message the link to the winner or will the winner get the link?

Thanks for the help. I can move this to the forum, if requested.

I'm using a Steam gift link
Do you mean a Humble gift link?
If so, then there are a couple things you should be aware of:

1. When the winner checks for their key, the gift link URL display may be truncated, in which case you would need to send the winner a private message here or on Steam. (Or at least, this used to be the case. It looks to me like it now wraps long lines instead of cutting them off, so maybe you don't need to worry about that anymore.)

2. Rumor has it that using Humble gift links can get you in trouble with Humble Bundle (as in, getting your account banned and all purchased keys revoked), if the gift link falls into the wrong hands and gets redeemed by, e.g., a keyshop reseller. I doubt that a single gift link would get you in trouble, but I'd advise against handing out any more Humble gift links in the future.

IndieGala giveaways are only marked as "Guaranteed" if the key comes straight from IndieGala, and without ever being revealed to the giver. In other words, only keys purchased from the IndieGala store, or purchased in IndieGala bundles.

Oh, I should have clarified:
I've only heard of people getting in trouble with Humble gift links. I haven't heard of anyone getting in trouble for giving away plain old Steam keys from Humble Bundle. So I think you can reveal the keys to yourself, and then raffle those off without worry.

(Well, no, there's still region locks to worry about. If you're worried about getting negative feedbacks within the IndieGala raffle system, I'd suggest checking SteamGifts, via Barter, to see if your keys are region-locked, and do something else with the ones that are. Unfortunately, there's no way to prevent people in mismatched regions from entering your giveaways, and some winners might choose to give you a thumbs-down as a result. Fortunately, 911 Operator keys are not region-locked, so no worries right here.)
