Am I entering other people into giveaways?

I get the sneaking suspicion that the recent server glitches are not just causing my browser to get sent to random pages, but actually get identified as random other users...

When I'm entering into giveaways, I sometimes watch my IC levels. Sometimes, especially when I'm sent off to random pages, I also get randomly different IC remaining, as well. (For example, I know I have 150 or so IC left, but the site says I have 225, and if I enter the randomly-selected contest, it then says I have whatever the cost was less IC...)

Further, whenever this happens, I seem to have the same number of IC when I actually get an accurate page... plus, I seem to be entering far less giveaways than I actually clicked upon...

So, am I actually just being randomly assigned other people's accounts when the server glitches, and I just entered someone else to win something? It shouldn't be possible, but then again, IG has been vomitting all over itself so much, lately, that it seems possible.

Yeah, it heppens to me as well so I warn support already.

This issue is being addressed. Should be ironed out soon.

You should be entering yourself though even though it may look like you are not. Just some caching issues in the backend.

Yes and not only that, i already reported Weeks ago to the Support that i was logged on randomly to other Peoples Accounts, i was able to see all the Keys they won and everything, i was even able to check their GA's for them and obviously get the Key's if one would have won...

If you wonder why i not posted that to the Forum earlier, well i was not able to use the Forum because it said i need to link my Steam Account, but of course it was already linked, looks that has been solved now.

Also to come back to the Security Problems here, i suppose it's a Caching Issue with their Caching Proxy they use, this Proxy seems to be totally FUBAR because i not only get random Pages, i also get random IC-Counts...

And like already said, even get the Keylisting of random People, which is of course a major Security Issue and probably the Source of many bad Reps for Keys that doesn't worked... Because i'm not abused that and reported it to the Support Week or Months ago, but what if some have abused it and stolen and activated those Keys on their Accounts? Yeah right then the one that legit won it will 100% give a thumb down because the Key doesnt worked...

So if you had some thumb downs for Keys you are 100% certain that they was fine, well then it could be that Security Issue...

Interesting. When I first noticed the issues on IG I was reminded of the Steam issues on Xmas day from that group that attacked them and kept serving up cached pages.

Not to mention the removal of the check all button!

Yeah I remember the Winter Sale Incident too, but I have double checked things myself and I'm sure it was only a visual problem in the giveaway section. The data is always correct on my accounts page as well, even during the worst times a week ago.

As for the "check all" button, I wish it would be brought back too but the devs must have their reasons to put it on hold. While the giveaway section has its ups and downs (quite literally), I have complete faith in Indiegala to improve upon what they have here, as I have since moved all my personal giveaways from other sites to here.
