Anti-bot measures gone?

I've noticed that since the recent updates, giveaways that used to have <100 entries (for recent massive giveaway games) suddenly have closer to 1000, and games that used to have <1000 are now getting around 2000. It's getting pointless to even bother. Is it just me, or did this occur immediately after the giveaway section changes?

...I noticed the same as Praxis....Don't know exactly when...Maybe even happened slowly over a week or two...But I did notice higher numbers entered when compared with say July......

I believe there's a few reasons for higher entries for single ticket giveaways.
1. Less giveaways (my perception), this leads to more people in the same giveaways to avoid wasting silver.
2. More people using the site.
3. More people with multiple accounts. Hard to verify as participants aren't visible any more.
4. Browser extensions that facilitate #3 to some degree. When indiegala helper was broken, awhile back, a lot less entries in giveaways.

That bug has been fixed and only one giveaway still exists(at the time of this post) that was around during said bug. You can tell because instead of tens of thousands of entries in a multi-entry giveaway, there were hundreds of thousands of entries (no matter how expensive a giveaway was to enter).
