Can anything be done about this?

There's auto-response, so if someone doesn't vote, it'll automatically give you a positive vote. If they give you a negative vote, and you're ABSOLUTELY sure that you gave away a working code, you can e-mail the support. They'll help you.

No, they wont. Only way to change the vote is if the winner emails the support.

What's worse is when you get a downvote by a level 0 user with no giveaways created, no trades done, whose first action corresponds with the day you created the giveaway - and who you see on Steam playing the game they just won, while the time of the giveaway and the time they have on record in that game correspond directly.

1.) Advice from IG is to contact them on Steam - blocked after invite (no other contact)
2.) Contacted IG to report/complain/appeal - told they couldn't do anything unless the other person contacted them.
3.) Asked them to examine his account and try to contact - response after 20 days is, "They never responded, so your feedback stays negative."

I've never created a giveaway or trade with secondhand keys; only my own, because I wanted to be sure... and in two cases now, I've paid for the privilege of giving them away... :|

That could be solved with a system like the auto response for no feedback system that's in place now. If the key recipient does not respond to Indiegala support in any way then the strike should be removed.

I'm in the same limbo you and many other posters here are. The desire to create giveaways is deflated with the looming threat of consequence hanging over our heads. I have perfect feedback because I know, barring the possibility of a rare manufacturers slip up, my keys are valid. I don't want to have that lingering negative vote from a troll with no way of rectifying it. It's silly I know, as another poster said, it's just the fact that you'll always look at that and know someone took advantage of your giveaway. I'm paying for it by not being able to enter the increasing amount of level 3-4 giveaways, I'm stuck at halfway to level 3 and probably will stay there until some sort of system is in place to try and stop trolling. There will always be people that downvote for no reason, but with the IG giveaways there's consequence's for the giver that just wanted to share their games. That system is necessary but so to is a way of disputing it.

Off topic: Why can we not see the feeback winners forced to leave when they recieve a key? That seems odd.

Also off topic: It's really nice to have the giveaway section functional again, thank you for that IG! :)
