Same here! it looks an old game Windows XP without any compatibility work around from indiegala.

To get the game to work:
Download MSXML 4.0 SP3 and install
In the game folder, right click on "game.exe" left click "Properties" choose the "Compatibility" tab
Compatibility Mode box should be checked with the option:
Windows XP (Service Pack 3)
You can also check the box "Run this program as an administrator"
