Duplicate Product Key

Bought a game from the store, got a duplicate key.
Will support resolve this? I have sent an email but I see a lot of people saying support hasn't replied or can't do anything...

Seems like this could be a strange issue, as a friend bought a key to the same game and it too was a duplicate. Both of us have contacted support, so fingers crossed we can get this fixed!

Same thing happened to me. Bought the key 12 hours ago, steams claimed it was a dupe and support still hasnt responded to my email

Just had the same issue. Made a purchase and got a dupe key. I've asked support for either a new key or my money returned

I just had a similar problem. I played the daily Challenge game, and I beat the challenge and it said I won a Steam Key. I assumed it was going to be some cheaper 2D style game or something, and I was fine with that. It was free after all. When I went to enter the Steam Key that they sent to my email address it said it was a duplicate key and that another Steam account had already redeemed it. I sent an email to the support account just now, so I'll give it more time for them to respond. I even told them that it was a freebie, and they don't have to do anything for my situation, like I'm not out anything, but I will hold off on putting my credit card information in on the site or downloading anything from here until I at least find out that the site is legitimate and see how they handle this. The moderator seems to be pretty responsive, so I consider that a good sign. We'll see though.

how many days delay in responding to emails are you currently behind? and what system have you got in place so user can change the email address from their account page I see [none] and that you need to contact support, this is a LOOP surely if the reason you want to change email is that you are not getting email replies from indiegala support to the email on your account as they are SPF at domain host as I suspect mine are so I never get email response to my registered indiegala account email address when asking for support.

As my support request from 18th august is unanswered where my key for game does not work or rather it is not the promised steam key.

So either there is either a delay in answering emails, or I am not getting them at all [this is likely] and they are not trapped in SPAM folder but blacklisted before that by spf.

So how to change my email on account ?
