Of what though? You can look up what the game is (when it fails to get added to your library) with this method (easiest way is to install the SteamDB Chrome extension)
It says it has already been activated by a different user. Wait so you can see what game it was? I never knew you can do that. I'll try and see what I find

Oh ho ho hoooooooo
That's a special key given to reviewers; frequently they contain multiple games by the same publisher so that a publication can do a bunch of reviews for the various recently released and upcoming games. The games expire after a period of time so they aren't just "free" forever. What this (probably) means is that Ubisoft gave someone a key with the intention that it be used for a review, but it has somehow been leaked. It may not necessarily be for Far Cry 5, but I would bet a pretty penny that it is.
Either the reviewer did use the key and then leaked it anyway, or they never intended to do the review they just thought they were getting a free key, but the key expired so it's no good. Both used keys and expired keys report "duplicate code" errors, so you can't tell the difference.

ANYWHO, it may be worthwhile contacting Ubisoft and telling them you won a reviewer key for what you think is Far Cry 5 and that they probably want to know so they can blacklist the reviewer they sent that key to in the future. They *may* be happy and give you a free copy "for your trouble"; most likely you'll get at most a thank you, but it doesn't hurt to try.

Thank you so much for the info. I didn't have high hopes for this giveaway before and I did expect to get a duplicate code but the information we discovered is on another level. I'm glad I followed your advice and checked to see what it was. This is wrong and I'm going to email Ubisoft about it. They don't have to send me the game since this wasn't an official giveaway (I mean if they really want to, that would be great 😆) but this situation made me really upset because I think it's really bad to use the reviewer's key for a giveaway (even if it was expired, which is even worse but that's another story). If this was indeed a Far Cry 5 reviewer key, I think Ubisoft has every right to know.

Edit:
So I talked with someone from Ubisoft Support, they were confused and didn't know what a reviewer's key was lol. Anyway, I didn't get an answer about the situation. They said they weren't allowed to give me details about the key or something like that. They said I should contact indiegala instead. Yes, that's not how it works, lol. Maybe it was a Far Cry 5 reviewer's key after all?
