The timer runs faster than what it says after you win a key. Instead of receiving a ten second penalty, you are receiving a 13-15 second penalty. For proof, run a timer when you start one of the challenges. I understand the game is free, but why not tell users the truth about the time penalty?

I got 59/60 in hoeing earlier today with -10 malus and a tough layout. I also messed up a little bit. So, with an easier layout and better execution, I think 3 is still possible. I hope so at least.

I have played this game for so long, won over 300 keys (lot of them Duplicated/already owned games) and mastered all the challenges
I get 10 malus, with old account and joining the steam Group
I get -3 seconds
which means 7 seconds
I used to get 6 seconds and they Increased it, I said fine
I win 2 keys, and get 14 seconds malus
then the timer starts counting by 0.8 seconds(you can compare it using your phone timer), Which means in reality, you don't get 46 seconds to finish the tasks
you get 36.8 seconds, and I'm telling you, all the tasks are impossible to finish even if you take out 4 seconds using 200 gold
you can't even get Galacredit, Only on 3 challenges with this timer speed
you still get 40 seconds cuz the timer will still be faster than 1 second

Devs did this to decrease Keys Won, But it only made people give up on the game or play-win-get out

I started playing last month and out of all my wins, I've gotten a few cool games, one of them was even on my wishlist. A handful of them have been dupes, but that's alright since the game is free.

As EZIO said, it's not possible to win more than 2 keys per day. Personally, I can't win with a -7 malus unless I'm playing the beans or hoeing challenge. Are any of you able to beat the other challenges with malus?

I don't have any issues with only being able to win 2 keys/day. I'm grateful for it. What I do have an issue with is IndieGala lying about how many seconds the time penalty will be for in order to trick users into playing more with absolutely no chance of winning.

If the time penalty is 23 seconds on the 3rd key attempt, then tell the truth! Don't lie and say that the penalty is 14 seconds.

I don't disagree. My only successes getting a 3rd key have been with 10 malus thanks to the extra -2 seconds from positive feedback on GAs. I don't think I'd be able to win a 3rd key with 14 malus and the new accelerated timer. Most of the time, I call it quits at 2 wins, unless one of the next 2 challenges is hoeing.

The game is "rigged" since christmas. They started slowing the timer for a short period so that a lot of new players would win at least the first win of the day (which strangely was hard for newbies) but when they started to remove this they then changed it to something in between:
First win is a lot more than 60 seconds, everyone will win something at least once. Second win is slightly faster, so most people can win, and third win is faster than normal and only an handful of people will win.

Having said that, winning 3 times a day is very much possible and easy for everyone just by seeing some videos. It's even possible for 4 games a day at -21 malus but that requires perfect play at hoeing and I can do it only on my best days. I posted some videos here that everyone can see, it's in the forum somewhere.

I can complete the mining and fighting challenges occasionally with 8s malus for a 2nd key, and rarely hoeing for a 3rd key if I'm lucky with the layout and don't mess up

Hoeing is the easiest for the second key with 8s malus.

Easiest imo is probably watering
Stand between two plants and water the left and right ones alternately 4 times each

Hoeing is also possible but watering is more consistent

Why are they hiding the truth? In chopping challenge I can complete before timer reaches 8 second. It also happened in other challenges.

recently I was noticing this about this.... but there is not much we can do, since the owners of the page are the ones who rule here.......... I wish there was a page like this that doesn't lie


also, it is not so difficult to get 3 keys:

note that I do it with 7 seconds of penalty for each key

first key: tree challenge

second key: plant challenge / watering challenge

and third key: challenge to dig the earth (spending 150 galasilver to remove 3 seconds)


EDIT: is still possible win the third key without removing malus, and maybe you can reserve galacredits for a fourth key in the same dig challenge

Just use galasilver to buy seconds. problem solved
