GAMERS LAIR

But what do the tiers do ? Just for some giveaways available for certain tiers only ? And that would take the lifetime ARP i guess ? And when you manage to redeem a game in the marketplace, you lose all the amount of ARP that is not lifetime then right ?
The only purpose of tier has been game vault which is zeroed in less than 2-3 mins, unless some repeat of old giveaway everyone owns.
There are multiaccounters and abusers all over that site making it impossible for honest users to get a key if you are late.
The last giveaways they did that many missed (i missed almost all of them like battletech and battlestar), had no tier requirement at all - so people were making more accounts and taking everything

For those who contacted Aerosoft about the key for Paper Boats not activating on steam did you have problems like I'm having?

Emails back and forth and whoever this person is is not at all polite. I asked nicely for a replacement key with a ss of the purchase and ss's of it NOT activating. First reply (weeks later!) she said you dont get a key for a free game, where did I buy it. (She closed the ticket) So I sent a ss of my receipt from THEIR site. Weeks later again she replies asking for the key and closes the ticket.. again. So I've just replied with the key typed out this time (which was clear in both my previous replies). What a drama.

Never even seen that nifty little feature, been a while since I had firefox installed.

Are you just changing your IP address in Windows with IPConfig or using a static IP?,
Or are you actually doing it via the modem or a spoofer/vpn program?
I log into my modem using Firefox and force a reboot, that almost always gets me a new IP Address. I log each IP Address that I'm using and write the Username next to it (Steam Username) I'm always careful not to Login into User #1 if I was previously using that IP Address on User #2. Always double check the log to make sure the IP Address is different each and every time you switch Users. It's also important that you don't mix up your Containers, Label them accordingly like User#1 and User#2 (obviously your Steam Usernames).

There are a lot of generic RPG Maker games out there, but at least the art in this game looks nice.

Thanks, I'll give it a try myself when I have time.

EDIT:

I agree it on the art, looks pretty good for a maker game.

At least click the "Add to Library" button, before they decide to charge for it. :ROFLMAO:

Yes there are many game with Rpgmaker but this looks a lot nicer.

Last few days my friend, probably about to kill the farming apps on people as well as the addlicense feature.
What do you mean? NoCost apps have been nuked from orbit for trading cards and library +1 counts, years ago now. With the exception of maybe one or two accidents in recent memory, there isn't any incentive to be botting them

The game is free to play, so the company has little motivation to work so hard to fix issues for something that takes one click
Now i'm confused (and that still not wise on the companies part, when I get treated THAT horribly I blacklist companies for life), MS and Dell don't even exist to me anymore unless i'm doing a repair for someone else and THEY purchase the parts.

I scrapped an extremely nice Dell PC for parts over the front LCD screen dying (played Windows Vista gadget style games on it and also showed the boot codes) because it stopped the computer from starting up and I simply refused to buy the $40 or so part from Dell that was unique to the system lol.

Sorry, off-topic...if its F2P why are you bothering for a key? Cards?

Maybe mobile only because of no Steam client?

EDIT:

The botting was for the temporarily free games, those have the button as well. When they are given away for a short time.

You really have no need to use AddFreeLicense on a PC or a F2P forever game unless your being lazy 🙋‍♂️

Farming is entirely based on the same code used in the browser.

Possibly but I'm pretty sure I can remember two other members here contacting Aerosoft and they got new keys immediately.

Do you have the steamdb extension? I wondered if it was a steamdb button. Yeah I had the blue button and added to library. Sweet. Now I dont need to go looking for codes to addlicenses without it wanting to immediately install :ROFLMAO:

Off the top of my head I dont remember, but there was a reason at the time. Maybe it was cross buy...? Otherwise I'd just addlicense it.
But yeah, This woman is not at all professional. Whether I paid money or not for one of their games purchased on their site, I'm still a customer. Tho I doubt I'll ever be a paying one now.

There's no guarantee that the game(s) will stay free forever. Some go paid, others get delisted. (Some of us have data limits so cant leech every single game right now.)

I downloaded the source for Arch and all it really does is send HTTP queries internally using the same method. No query, no farming.
"Farming" = time in the game. Some devs have timers set so that after say two hours of game play, a card drops.

Many ppl dont actually want to play a game to get cards to trade. I'm one of those who like to earn my card drops from the games I like playing. I dont trade them but I've been known to buy the missing cards that you cant earn to complete a collection. I dont even know where they come from (the devs put them in the marketplace?). Also if you stupidly press buttons on steam to see what they do, cards get eaten and turned in to a badge. Meh. I bought those again too, since you can only earn them once in a game. (I assume.)

Yes, and what arch does is send steam information using the game ID via a query just like the AddFreeLicense one, when you use !ASF it actually sends javascript:AddFreeLicense with the game ID, it just does the work for you.

I didn't look into the idle part thoroughly for the record...I'm not sure if it sends steam false info saying you played longer than you have (instantly) or if it just idles and hides the Widow...but if it hides the window, why would you use it?

All you need to do is put a game in window mode and minimize it on the lowest quality settings to achieve the same thing...so I assume it sends Steam the same information the client would when you close your game, just faster.

Either way its still using the same script that steam uses internally on its site (check out the developer side of steam if you need proof) to make everything work.

If steam changes those internal functions, it would either force them to find a new method or break the farming entirely.

For example, if the games send encrypted unique identifiers each time during launch and shutdown...or worse--mid-game.

They would need to decrypt that code before they would be able to farm for cards, if it sends it mid-play using an internet or GSM based clock it may become impossible.

If that takes a long enough time to decrypt or they simply couldn't fake it...the farming app would become useless.

Also, the cards don't disappear unless you choose to make a badge (or thats an external app your running), badges go up to level 5...so you can actually do that 5 times max.

The cards are put on the market by users who sell them (the option is in the same area you buy them) either duplicates they don't need...or because thats why they farm cards in the first place.

I buy and sell mine to craft badges myself.

You never need to fully download a game, as soon as the game shows in your download list (or makes a shortcut) you can cancel the installation and uninstall the started installation and still keep the game.

But with that button, you won't need to even do that anymore.
