It's valid for new users only that's the important part (I think), don't try that code on your existing account. Go make a new account using a different Email Address and Username and I think you need to use the code during the signup process (it might require a special link to signup using the code) I doubt you can use the code after signup (check the Terms and Conditions carefully) have the sender of the code check for any special signup link that may have come with that code, or at least they can copy/paste all info that came with the code (wherever they got it from)

In this case I don't think a trial counts at all...but you may be right. In all my time I've only seen it apply to paid accounts to attract you to the paid features.

Better safe than sorry but in the case of spotify I don't think its needed. I assume to use the code though you will need to do it as you signup, meaning this debate is moot at most

Thats like signing up for youtube music or red, if your using it free your generally not signed up, just signed in.

I am not. Never tried the trial since they want my CC when signing up for those, which was what I was hoping to avoid honestly I thought/hoped this code was like some kind of voucher. If I need to sign up with CC details I am not that inter. since they keep offering me 3 months free on a regular basis if I sign up. Apologize to @yellowsorcerypotent for not knowing how to quote two different posts at once.

Thats easy, start a normal reply, when you click quote, go to the next line and then click quote on another post. You can also just select certain text like you normally would and a reply button pops up like so...

I'm hoping (for your sake) that it's a voucher (no Credit Card/Paypal Acc. required) but I still think it'll require a special link for that (used to signup a new Account) I'm still skeptical of it though, my gut tells me that they want you to put your Credit Card on file, or Paypal. If you login to Spotify with Firefox and have uBlock Origin (Plugin) you can listen to Full Length albums without commercials and skip songs, the quality is supposed to be better on Premium though.
