The problem isn't having a new account.
The problem is getting a key from a giveaway before it runs out.
Most AWA giveaways can be easily joined by new accounts. Only few giveaways are locked behind high tiers.
Even then, there are bots. Lot of bots.
So if you are from a timezone where you can easily join the giveaways to get keys then it's a good option to make an account.
There is also an option to redeem game from vault using arp. But they are getting expensive every month & it will probably take months or more to save up enough arp if you don't want to grind.
Like I just casually use AWA, I don't even have enough arp to redeem a single game from vault.
I only got like 6 keys from awa giveaways as of now, one of them was a soundtrack, one of them was a demo, one of them was a outfit on guild wars 2 or something.

Then there are reasons to create the account!
I mistakenly thought the GAs were for high tiers only after some labor.

"Games worth playing" sounds fun. But it's just the rule of 1 post/person is too difficult to maintain.
Only exception is for a list of games which is also kinda hard. A time limit would make it easier like one post allowed in every 2 weeks or a month for each user. So people can suggest what they played in a month.

If I wanted to post there and had the same concerns as you, I would try to find a creative way to address those concerns.
You could just create sections to your 1 post, like this:

Games I Played in June:
Game 1
Game 2

Games I Played in July:
Game 3
Game 4
etc.

All you would have to do is keep editing your post.
I'm not criticizing you, I'm just making a suggestion that might work for you.

I mainly wanted to stop by to thank pos for 2 mystery gifts from my wishlist yesterday! (Caveblazers and Candle). That was an awesome surprise and extremely kind of you, pos.

I also owe a big thanks to TurdSplat for getting me a couple of the tinyBuild games from the AWA GA. I was more than content with the 1 that I got myself but ended the day with an impressive trio thanks to him. Thanks

I need time off to process all the games that I got and focus on some other things. This place can be exhausting (in a good way)!

I didn't even know it was a game key and when I looked again (I was the first responder in this thread, no idea where he offered the other keys) i didn't see it there anymore, I though he was saying choose wisely, literally...and edit the post made me do a double take on the game list.

I am going to be really honest with you right now. I have no idea what's the deal with all those loot boys, coins and twitch drops, and this point I am too afraid to ask.

I don't blame you! I didn't know anything about LootCoins, ARP, etc only a few months ago. It was all Greek to me. It's one of those things that you have to do to understand. None of it is difficult or complicated. It's just a question of how much time and mental energy you're willing to spend for these freebies.

I followed the guide in Steamgift and I reach lv 9 pretty fast thanks! I got 2 lootpacks where I won Gifts of Partax and Randal's monday. I won Fractured demo too.

There is one problem with the whole one post theory, I hit the max character limit in my wishlist thread...so at some point your going to have to go and either erase some or make a second post...but you could do as he suggested or anyway you chose as long as you edit your post.

And remember, the thread was made my a person just like you...if they see your an active contributor and you run out of room in your post, I sincerely doubt they would be upset if you made a second post.

And even if the one person who made the thread did, gala is obviously useless at enforcing anything so they really couldn't stop you...might not wanna step on too many users toes, might step on the wrong toe ...and nobody likes to feel unwanted somewhere they regularly visit anyways, thats no fun.

So if your doing it for love of doing it, with fellow gamers, I don't see you having much of an issue....just go get a feel for the crowd and see if its for you.
