The first was dumb AF even if you don't read the source material (I've read so I'm furious at best).
The second was even worse((
F*cking Sony can't do a descent MARVEL movies, only half-assed (yes, Raimi's trilogy is half-assed and Webb's dialogy is even worse in some departments).

The Carnage part is kinda too short so it feels quite dissatisfying.

For me like for any true comics fan and cinemaphile both movies were not just dissatisfying... I was disgusted at best

i got these games and was terribly disappointed with the state they're in. I can understand that the games themselves are already as they are, but at least something minimal could be done with them for today's users - at least some achievements should be attached to them, and some minimal updates should be made... KotOR feels great on mobile platforms, and there are achievements, for JA there are also achievements on PS4, but for some reason it is very difficult to implement them on the native platform? Racer and Republic Commando were updated for Switch, and on PC it is some kind of abandonware rather than something that can be sold to people for money... Does Disney have so little money to do such a minimum? So they would be distributed to those who could? I just finished Full Throttle Remastered (which used to belong to LucasArts), and it's a beautiful and elegant approach to the game, it doesn't look (almost) 30 years old at all, there's a new mode, and the old one is not going anywhere, and it's running at new OSes without problems, and achievements is here too - you see what people did with all their heart and try to leave this impression forever...

Way to kill my mood...but I can't blame an honest opinion...and no matter what you say or do, the truth will still remain the truth.

I was hoping it was like the modern battle systems at least, although I did see how dated the graphics looked.

If its only achievements I personally won't mind much...and I'm not a die hard star wars fan like you...I generally just like kicking arse with dual swords (I'm a rogue) and whipping people around with my mind (usually into foreign objects)

I do appreciate a story in the game, especially since I have seen (but not really watched) most star war movies just by chance...I guess i'll find out soon enough.

I mean it was a $10 bundle, I didn't expect they were of golden value, I just liked the two i played on PS3 (one of those) and figured I might enjoy the gameplay.

But now I'm getting off topic...thats never the point of a thank you, is it?

Its the thought that counts, and I did actually tell her which ones I was disappointed I would miss, so that was what she made sure I didn't.

Now I have them and I'll at least be able to try them, something I likely wouldn't have been able to do except at a higher price later on.

Even if their absolute garbage, they came from kindness...and only an ungrateful fool would care about anything other than that.

I agree, and I'm a devout Marvel fan, but I don't expect them to actually get the origins right at this, if you really watch and really understand the difference between comics and cinema you can understand 'some' of the reasons for plot changes...I admit some are totally bogus and sad, but drawing and creating a 3D realistic visual of certain things in full motion is a lot more difficult to do than play by play scenes in a comic and would look even more unreal.

You have to accept that its two different worlds and two "different" fan-bases they are entertaining now to actually look past the flaws and simply enjoy it for what it is.

A new version of the thing I love, meant for long time fans and people who never knew who wolverine was until they made a movie.

In that light, I thought they did a good job of making it entertaining...but thats just me.
