didn't mean to imply people shouldn't try or play the sims, it just seemed that (from what I know of people here), a good portion of them would never touch it unless it was free with a box of chocolates mailed to their house on top (me being one heh)...but thats beside the point here.

And that's what they want to do. The "trick" is that somehow this game is addictive.. And I don't like sim games usually (although imo this is closer to management and deco than simulation)

Renting a game has its pro's but nothing beats owning a game.. Ok, steam is pretty much a complicated rental place but since they refuse to make proper physical editions, a lifetime license is srill better than having no control over anything

Anyway, there's almost no such thing as "games for girls", pretty much half of my male friends have some Little Mermaid or/and Barbie games completed, also many female friends who are liked to play fightings and/or slashers))
SIMS was as unisex as it can be IMO.

There is such a thing but a bit differently. It's not X game is to only be played by girls but that they mainly try to create something that would mostly attract amd appeal to girls (in a stereotypical way or no). Same way you have "kids games" and so on

a game shop here got dissed by me for calling Mass genre (Mass affect) and RPG...more for the fact I asked for games similar to FF and Tales Of than the fact its really not an RPG
