I guess. Well I am on win10 and keep avoiding to upgrade to 11. It works for me. There are no spam stuff popping up. It's just a bit of visual thing, but it doesn't affect 2nd screen and if you don't mind bothering there are ways to remove water stamp all together.

I do know that, registry hack. I've done it for a friends Windows 8. I actually have a registry file around for it if anyone needs it (I can just drop it in a code block here)

I'll double check if its still the same key for Win 10 as well.

I have a Powershell Script to pull your Product Key from the registry as well.

A Windows 7 key can be used on Windows 10 (requires matching versions)... in some cases it requires being on windows 7 and doing the actual upgrade--that I find to be way too much hassle unless your starting fresh anyways or your drive failed.
