Bionic Commando (and I've played the NES version) is fucking incredible EXCEPT for using Agea physics or whatever the fuck its called causing the crash on load half the time.

Never heard of those issues at the time of the release. Played it on the friends PC for like an hour or so, no crashes or anything.
And yes, I completed two java-ports of the NES game, the NES game itself and the arcade original (the last one was atrocious coingrabber, omfg, I hate it!!)

Nope, totally wrong. The first game was slow to react, but it didn't force you to walk forward ONLY using up on the d-pad, it had up-left, rotate your character while walking back..

Your simply wrong...on the original versions, not the remasters

• artistic decisions on the part of character designs
• choice of the band for the OST
• stupid cliched story with the fucking child of angel and demon

Those things was done from the start and wasn't changed in the ports.
If anything, by your words, it became even more atrocious with those camera problems.

This debate ends here, by the hand of your own sources...even they can't get the fucking story right, same page...two different entire fucking scenarios.
