I saw that someone asked for deletion of a entire thread , and she replied to that , she asked for a link of the thread and they will delete it . I guess thats an option if you find the poll too intrusive , we can always create another Gamer's lair thread , but that seems like desperate measure , you decide members . Maybe I should create a poll about that :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

You don't need human support for that; it's a self-service procedure.
You can only do it in the Steam launcher - select a game in your library, click Support and then "I want to permanently remove this game from my account".
The game will be removed from your library and the license entry will disappear from the licenses log. The game/license will NOT however, be removed from your account. Once registered to an account - a license is bound to it forever. Even if you "permanently" remove a game with the above procedure, you can recover it (self-service). Even if you "overwrite" a previously "removed" license with a different one, you'll be able to check that it is still present - together with the new one.
Wow, this is good to know, thx!
Why do ppl try to steal steam accounts then? (Sorry if it's a dumb question.)

I think I might be the odd one out here, in that I only ask for keys for games I know I'll play. I only have one Steam account too. 🙃

I also don't understand the whole trading card system. Don't you have to play a game to earn the cards? I'm proud of the ones I earned in Horizon Chase Turbo but saddened by the fact the rest of the set aren't rewards for game play.

Good idea, make a new poll. And see if it replaces the old one.
The current poll says: " Total voters: 21. Poll closed Yesterday at 2:53 PM"
It wasn't closed earlier, so maybe now it can be removed by you?
The poll that can be removed is another sign of the incompetence somewhere...

You can get only half of the cards (more than half if the number is odd), the rest you can either exchange or buy - this is all part of the interaction system between users and additional earnings for both the game publisher and Steam, they all receive a small percentage of transactions. Plus very rarely, but you can get a booster pack for one of the games you have. But the chance is very small, and it gradually increases depending on the level of your profile in Steam.

You get trading cards because of the time you played a game. So if you open a game, and it is running, you might get a trading card after 4 hours.
Even if you never did play the game, just started it.
So if you are proud of it, I think you meant achievements. ;)

It can't be removed from my side , I tried everything. It has been closed since yesterday because I was fumbling around settings again trying to close it . I can't even open another one , looks like its one poll per thread , which doesn't make much sense . I' m afraid we will be stuck with Freddy and the company. I am disappointed that I received no answer from support , answer of any kind , even if its "we can't do anything , except delete the thread " .

4. Sell the accounts

No.
If the account (the sum of games registered to it) has any marketable value, the original owner will want to recover it, and you can easily recover a stolen Steam account.
At that point the account thief might as well be scam-selling non-existent accounts, because the buyer will never receive and be able to hold to what he paid for.

I have a question about Steam account theft , what is the most common way thiefs attempt to stole accounts ? So I can be on guard for future , and is having Steam guard mobile autenthicator enough ?
Some users on discord sends a dm saying that they accidently reported your account and you need to contact with a steam discord mod(which doesn't exist since steam support won't contact you with third party app), then say they sent a code and need the code which was sent to you(actual steam guard) to check your account and then lose your account. Some even try to say that they need a steam gift card code (even seen people send 50 to 100$ or more) to validate your account, so you lose both money and account.
Someone sends you a link saying that they need a vote on x website. You click on link and the link requires steam log in. But it's just a phishing site. This fake link can be sent from anywhere, maybe from a friend whose account got hacked, maybe a random email. But usually it's easy to tell that the website is fake. Basically steam guard should do the trick unless you give the code thinking your account was reported.

I think Steam Guard does the job, i don't know how an accound could be stolen like that if you don't give information to weird people doing weird demands.

These scammers won't give you time. They will say that you will have to send info as quickly as possible, otherwise you will lose account. People get panicked and send info. One time on twitter, a user got scammed and almost sent money. I said multiple times that it was a scam but he didn't believe. Only after I gave a steam community post link about how the scam works, then he believed.
Here's how other similar scams work:
1. You ask for help on twitter or other social media. Bot account replies "look for x account, he helped me get back my blocked account back etc".
2. You commented on a giveaway on twitter or youtube. Sends a dm saying "You need to pay for sending the product, just send steam gift card code and we will send prize" or "here is the link, sign here and type the steam credit you want etc".
