Same! It is not completely dead but some keys as q e t 1 doesn't work, searching on internet I realized it is a common problem. Sometimes I solved this problem with some solution found on youtube like this
but after a while the problem came back and then it was even worse.
So I solved the problem buying an external logitech keyboard that is even better then acer.
you can just look for a keyboard at ebay or alike, and replace it. Should not be very hard.

I think he means that if you go and purchase the Diamond Jackpot Lootpack right now, it will generate your own personal code, but you already used somebody else's code, so you will not be able to use your own code 🤪 but maybe you can share your own personal code with other people (I think this is the code Kid Kidding wants to use, your personal code), they seem to be tied to a raffle (if I understood correctly) if somebody who used your code wins the raffle, you will benefit from it. 🤷‍♂️
ah ok but I don't have a personal code, I don't believe too much in Jackpots. lol

yeah I wanted to do but I read someone replaced it and it after a while the problem turned back. So I just changed with external keyboard, I didn't want to bother to open my laptop.
I bought an Acer 17-inch laptop with SSD as a gift to my father, not cheap, everything is fine with his keyboard for a couple of years
the problem came it later to me like after about 3 years, but It may depend on models too, some of them aren't affected by this problem.

It is not so difficult to remove the keyboard, you just have to look on YouTube first, where the developer additionally glues it to the case :)
varies from laptop to laptop. On some it's trivial, on some it's comparable to the quest for holy grail. Same with changing thermal interfaces - on some laptops it's just "remobe back cover, here it is". On my laptop I have to disassemble it almost completely, remove screen, remove motherboard, etc. And it's an old laptop on 1st generation i7 CPU, which means it's VERY HOT, so changing thermal interfaces is a must, or it starts to turn off from overheating... I will never again buy a laptop from HP.

What you mean, once I use it can't I use other friend codes? or when I use it other people can't use it?
I may be confused in the words (this is normal, because I had such a subject at school and at the institute, but the teachers had no desire to do their work, so all the knowledge is from comics, games and youtube), and some are trying to twist more and it doesn't get better. I will try again
Someone entered such a code in their account.
(he got 1000 coins).
But if you give him your referral code, he can no longer use it.
What's wrong with that? Some person gave out his code to everyone, and increased his chance of winning. You'll find out later that you can give your code to friends, but the people who even want to use it have already wasted their chance on someone they don't know.
How big a problem it is when only one person in the world can win - that's another question.
We waste too much time on a miserable 1000 lootboy coins that are worth nothing at all!

Honestly, I really don't like laptops (I can't explain why, probably just the range of my work doesn't suit them), and I don't use them often (but I have this one), so I don't really understand how it can be convenient - in fact, it should take up twice as much space in front of the screen? I'm actually interested, because my parents' laptop keyboard is already not working well, and there is no opportunity for me to come and tinker with it for a few days. Just send the keyboard is a simple option. I didn't even think about it.

Steam (so far) hasn't had that issue obviously
On this topic: I realized that I was getting friend requests from being in large groups (like steam's official or largest trading card exchange group) only to tell me later "oh hey i'm sorry i reported you" scam where they impersonate being a steam mod on discord or link you to a misspelled website to steal your steam credentials. People still fall for this every day.

But as for trojans? You can private your friend list even as a big account who has a lot of friends, to the point that no one can see anyone else, so if you do want to friend collect, there's zero risk. Unless you personally leak your login and let your account become compromised. Always enable 2FA / steamguard.

That thinkpad is really old a piece of history, I'd like to have it justo to install old Win Os to play old games :D External keyboard is quick solution without any hassle.

It happened to me once, the scam has always the same scheme, I reported him to steam and after a few days he was banned.
