Nice, thanks Max (y)
Just as I thought 🧐:ROFLMAO:
errrm....right. Elementary my dear watson (literally)
it's Black Widow cosplay, dude... o0 XDDDDDD
And its certainly not a real girl, idc what you say...unless she has a blue screen behind her and was manga'd over by an artist

Your cosplay thread seems to be more like a cross-play thread at this point.

I have previously installed games too..22+ (all pirated, excluding Mega Man X Street Fighter and Undertale, 'cause those were free games in the first place), but I'm not sure which of those would work right now 'cause I've installed 'em before the new windows was installed:unsure: Nevermind that though, it's not a competition:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
Right after the 17 Virri hit the OS :ROFLMAO:

Bad dante.

And i do that on like a monthly basis 😱 but your right its not, that was alot even for me...I do usually install about 20-30 games a month at least for a test run all in one go. Most I just end up keeping because I never actually test them properly for long enough :ROFLMAO:

An this is how my 8TB drive got full
how many arcade games have you completed (including the original hardware AND emulation, savestates or not, doesn't matter)?
Now whos competing, notice the Emulation factor here?

Have you ever been to an Arcade Dante?

Serious question?

An I mean no offense...well, maybe a little in the first line haha.
Oh my! I was sure she was made with CGI ahah
Its something, because that isn't a dead video even with a background mashed in.
I don't even know if it can be called a compliment or it's vise versa? 🤭
Its an insult...to you, if you believe otherwise lol.

What do you call a cent in Australia? heh

And this is why I dont understand why ppl diss roblox.
(Yes, Nitrous, I know you need to play online but other than that. FREE 😁

I have Sex and Drift under 'Racing' in my Steam sections...and believe me when I say you can't do either, controls are a nightmare :ROFLMAO:

It was actually pretty disappointing, they could at least let you skip to the sex since you can't actually drift :ROFLMAO:

I really need a WTF collection legit...I also need a Why The Actual Fuck" (WTAF) did I purchase this collection for my recent fanatical bundle idiocy

Think I'll add those lol.

Its even sadder that I had to make that collection title in the first place. That game sure qualified tho. Sadly.

Soooo just putting this out there. Baring my soul so please be kind. Remember how I said I suck at shooters? I mean I really really suck. But I wanna get gud. My brother suggested DOOM Eternal for a good first game to learn to play shooters. OH MY GOD. Five hours later, pretty stoked. I finished the first map of the campaign. (Yay me!) Then I see the achievements. One of them is finish that map in UNDER 11 mins. WOT?

I absolutely refuse to play kb & mouse. Controller only. Asked again what is a good FIRST fps game for a n00b (he said doom eternal again  )
So I went thru all my steam games and created collections to see what I already own in FPS (yes, this is how the WTF IS THIS collection came about) .. turns out many. But they're all above my skill. Asked same person same question again.. then after returning from watching HIM play doom eternal (disheartened coz I couldnt keep up with how fast he did everything) I tried again in the 2nd map. Nope.

Can any of you recommend easier n00b fps games? (remember, contoller only!)

BTW, yeah I have doom eternal set to Im Too Young To Die (apparently Im not!). Same person got annoyed with me for asking again and told me to google first/n00b fps's.. which I did. Then I asked him Metro? "Nope too hard for you". Borderlands 2? "Nope, too hard for you". <sigh>
All Humans Must Die on ps3 has been pretty fun tho. Same person walked in on me playing it and told me to go to my room ( :ROFLMAO: ) and go back to doom eternal and do it over & over & over & over .. till it gets easier 😒 Shhhh told him I'm playing it and he cant hear it coz I have headphones on 😁 (we can hear what everyone in the house is playing coz we all have our speakers up loud for the immersion, usually... shhh. Keep my secret! I snuck in here to ask you guys for game recommendations kek)

added later: Im actually playing fall guys, shhhhh! :ROFLMAO:
But I can whoop his butt in a racing game..

I agree, especially with all the free games I just add, look back later and go WTF literally :ROFLMAO:

Its even worse when I buy the fucking things and realize they have NO controller support (sound familiar?), ya...I pretty much shelf anything that requires an internet connection or a KB and Mouse, of course I have my broken hands to thank for the latter...but still, I'm with ya on this.

I had one I just named "Other", but it became a mix of what i didn't feel like playing and trash, so I need more variety in sections

Not a good starting game, maybe you should try the older DOOM games (like the classic 1993) or DOOM II would be better for actual learning here.

Considering your a fellow VR player, Idk how much it would help in FPS (I have accepted I will always suck lol--and sadly I can shoot IRL), but anyways...Superhot has Bullet Time (well, movement time really), everything is almost frozen until you move--this goes for the VR version as well as the gamepad version, and both are hard but good and give you a real good timed shot to moving target lineup for practice.

My other suggestions would be similar, Max Payne (Bullet Time), etc.

You may also want to dip your feet in on games where you don't ONLY shoot, but its required...like Metal Gear, Watch Dogs, or even GTA...that'll keep you on your toes with fast shooting but also give you a break so you don't go nuts entirely.

I'm honestly the last person to answer this question, but those are some general ideas.

Also keep in mind you can set a controller to any steam game if your determined, so you don't have to limit it to gamepad listed games, just stay away from MMO shooters or you'll commit suicide (in-game and IRL) really fast

Christmas has more fondness to me, probably because we did a family christmas back when I was young...before the homeless scenario.

Now all my aunts that hosted it an stuff are passing away...so its at odd places ran by the kids in my generation, and its just not the same.

Honestly was never the same since the homeless scenario, but thats probably because I can't seem to care about the people who sat by and watched like family wasn't important 🤷‍♂️

I guess even as a single male, no intention or want for a family...it was always more important to me than it was to the people who tried to teach me what it meant, my good friends are family, more so than they ever will be.

Anyways, i'm babbling and turning a good subject upside down

End Rant.

Thats what happens when you shrink pics to Gala size, I'm not using Imgur for the forums :ROFLMAO:

Those icons were NOT staying, I have a little folder on the Desktop for all my Steam games, rightly using a Steam Icon with a modification, same with one UPlay since I use that more than other launchers, Batch Files (I automate alot with bat files still lol), and one for all my Rig component software,...and although I usually leave those on the desktop on a single side since they clash with each other (and then crash) alot. Every company wants THEIR software to have priority, I've minimized the collateral damage, but theres only so much you can do

I just use solid Black :ROFLMAO:

Less resources, same concept with the Desktop icons and the Start Menu, they're all killer because they are all redrawn EVERY time anything above them is, at least partially...in the case of the Menus, those are made dynamically each time you click on them and they are actually brutal.

One of the biggest graphics resource hogs in Windows is plain and simply your desktop and start menu if you can believe that

Have you even seen the Witcher? Like once?

I don't recall any character looking that animated in the Witcher :ROFLMAO:

I would have said Dragon Quest on first guess lmao...but I know its not, the Animation is right for it though.

Mario Kart had Fruit (Wheres val when we need her...Bananas)

Its nothing like it though, as your expecting...you fill the juice containers like you would fill up on Nitrous

Its fucking hockey dude, get on the bandicoots nuts, always CTR.

Yes we know its a good game, yes we know its not mentioned often.

Yes, its still a rip off of Mario Kart (which actually started on SNES, not N64), they are all rip-offs of Mario Kart because the entire CONCEPT came from Mario kart. Get over it
And what's the entire concept that came from Mario Kart you're talking about? The racing? With a cartoonish characters? While using some wepons? I'm pretty sure there were at least 2-3 games with the same concept that predated SMK itself
I've played the Mario Kart on SNES and I've played the CTR on PS1, CTR is obviously the better one ('cause duh, it's on PS1). Even more - I've done some research and for the most part ppl are saying that CTR was better than Mario Kart 64 in pretty much every department (including controls+mechanics variety+it had the Adventure mode). But I haven't played the N64 one myself, so who knows...
Nevertheless, there's a statement that the CTR's developers tried to replicate a particular level from the Diddy Kong Racing game I've mentioned earlier, so that's why I made that assumption in the first place. If that Diddy game was just a ripoff of SMK, then it turns out that CTR was a ripoff of a ripoff alas the "better then the original" type of one, that sounds like an achievement, heh)) And don't forget that while time goes by, games aren't created in the vacuum. I mean, some reports stated that Mario Kart 8 got some mechanics from CTR itself, so it's a neverending circle of life. Still has no POWER SLIDING though, I guess, and that's the main mechanic in the CTR as far as I know.
In other words, it's like saying that Mortal Kombat was just a ripoff of Street Fighter - it has some truth in it, but overal it's a very dumb assumption (and I made that kind of assumption earlier in my life 'cause I'm a freaking fanboy and MK series gave me shit after UMK3)
Nice, its actually on Fanatical right now, although not in one of the cheaper bundles unfortunately.
Yeah, indeed unfortunately.

Right after the 17 Virri hit the OS :ROFLMAO:
Nah, just an old pirated copy of Win7 that went off after several years🤷‍♂️
Now whos competing, notice the Emulation factor here?
It was a genuine question, not cometitive at all. Imho I've made it clear emough by mentioning the emulation and quciksaves.
I play for the play, not for the record.

There were, made by Sega actually...

I used to have one for DOS actually, which was a ripoff itself 🤦‍♂️

I had Skunny Cart (mentioned beggining of the page)

As far as console wars went--Mario Kart was the original that started the craze...and back then, most people never even considered playing games on a PC--hell, most people STILL don't
I've played the Mario Kart on SNES and I've played the CTR on PS1, CTR is obviously the better one ('cause duh, it's on PS1). I lived in that era, and played SMK on SNES before CTR, then continued on to own CTR on PS1, and neither was it better by any means, but SMK will always be remembered as my first love of the genre.
If Street fighter had hooks, acid, flying through floors and walls, freezing opponents and a shit ton of blood, maybe....that one was a far stretch, the only thing those truly had in common were being limited to LP MP HP etc (the arcade pad style), and being 2D
Yeah, indeed unfortunately.
Figured you may want to know 🤷‍♂️
What do you mean??
Thats fully animated, either OVER a real girl, or without a real girl at all...like I said, it reminds me of a character from the Dragon Quest series in a cutscene, its certainly not flesh and bone without some changes. Thats what I mean.
Nah, just an old pirated copy of Win7 that went off after several years
I'm just going to skip over this on account that I have pirated Windows 7 off one CD to the point of needing to call and register it and every single copy, even on friends PCs is still Active

I don't even have a comment, except they don't just "go off" after several years especially.
It was a genuine question, not cometitive at all. Imho I've made it clear emough by mentioning the emulation and quciksaves.
I play for the play, not for the record.
Ok, you do remember when you first got here, right? I do.

You had a list of EVERY completed game on every "system" down to java that you kept track of, down to an exact count.

I remember you asking me the same about NES games...you definitely keep a record lol.

As for why you asked, who am I to debate...but I gotta admit I chuckled a bit.
2-3 times, in the childhood years. Why?
Literally pure curiosity, with all this arcade talk you haven't hopped in once to mention old arcade machines you played, I wasn't sure if you were denied the pleasure entirely.

Even only 2-3 times kind of seems that way to me, considering I could walk to one as a kid.

Sorry, that sucks.
I don't know what you're talking about...🤷‍♂️
Thats not a girl, IRL. Period. I can't say it any more Engrish than that.

Then I asked him Metro? "Nope too hard for you"
But Metro is not difficult. Not difficult at all. it's one of those games that lets you play it the way you feel comfortable. If you just want to run the game from start to finish, then run yourself. But if you want to leisurely explore the game, then a completely different layer of the game opens. Walk, explore, listen to all dialogues of random characters, collect all items and spare parts. There is even a level where there is a wall-to-wall war between two factions, you can pass without firing a single shot. Well, the game has two options for gameplay style - one focused on shooting, the other on survival. But even this separation works only on a difficulty higher than normal, because on normal the game is very easy. "Normal" is written there only in order not to offend newbies.
In general, judging by your message, games are recommended to you as unsuccessfully as possible. Because Metro is an easy game and it's good to try the genre, and Doom Eternal with its ammo management, on the contrary, can scare anyone away. At least the first game was more suitable. and taking into account that Eternal decided to drown in the graphomaniac plot, it would still be good to go through the previous one before that, so in this case the advice was bad.
And in general, shooters are divided into several subgenres, and you need to decide what is more interesting - the plot or the shooting. Doom is still more of a shooting game, and before that I'd recommend getting your hands on Serious Sam. First Encounter is perfect for going from the basics to the finale, Second Encounter will be able to entertain further if needed. Others if you really want to. For story ones, Metro is suitable, as I already wrote, or, well, try Black Mesa, for example?
And I would definitely not try to try the shooters from the Bordlands series. And why again somewhere from the middle, why is the second part? How does it work at all?

i'm in the same situation, but i remember playing Modern Warfare 3 on the Wii and it was a nice time for a few hours (had to abandon gaming for some time cause i was busy shortly after),
forget it, i've just check the steam price and it's insane, even on keyshop price is to high for a so old game

Generation Zero is a mashup of arpg/survival/fps, you can find it at a nice price today (allkeyshop)
like in every survival game you start with nothing, so be prepare to die and retry...if you die the respawn occurs at the nearest checkpoint you've unlocked (without loosing anything).

also, just try or retry Fall Out 4 with guns/machine guns only...he
:)

i'm currently blocked in the steam version of Metro 2033 (classic, non redux) i'm in a station and i have to do some infiltration stuff, can't achieve this...to much npc everywhere
Unfortunately, the description does not say anything, if you tell specifically, then maybe I will remember something. But there are always two options - you can kill everyone, or just go around quietly. The game is designed that way so that all patrols can be bypassed without problems. Also don't forget that you don't have to use all the ammo, you can sneak up behind and cut with a knife, or just stun, all light sources can be dimmed or turned off, and each type of weapon has a silencer and an optical sight, customize each type to your own needs.

So be offended :ROFLMAO:

And...I'll join you.

I actually had to chime in here for a better reason...Watch Dogs (the original at least, which is cheap), has the same type of gameplay to it, I got halfway through the game just hacking devices and setting off triggers without ever using a weapon...then they force it upon you unfortunately--which is where I quit

I still suggest watching some SUPERHOT! clips at least...the non-VR one preferably, its not the best for this particular goal, but it'll give you some basic practice and the games damn good, even the controller version, which is pretty cheap IIRC.
