Pretty much. Just checked now - another declined offer.
Well...I've got three offers already. Not with a game I was searching for but every time it was with a game from my wishlist. Twice it was reasonable and fast enough)) The third time it was a dupe key from the bot though, but I'm currently waiting for the response 'cause it actually said "please, try my key first"
Everything depends on the selected coordinates. 60% more than the original percentage, yes. But if the initial chance is somewhere around 0.2%, then it will become as much as 0.32%.
got it, okay))
I can play it - nice!
same))

I'm pissed right now. I made an offer for a game that is right now discounted and it's priced at 3,70€ on Steam. Delusional? Nah, I'd say some of them are far worse...

it depends.if a game is ever in one of those one dollar bundles like blue fire(1..31 at keyshop right now).to be honest thats still quite good if youre unlucky it could be like smoke and sacrifice.0.71 at the graymarket, probably because it was often bundled

They're looking at money value and I'm fine with that but then we should look at the values of ALL games, not just theirs
The problem is: they decide they'll look where is your game the cheapest but when they're checking the prices of THEIR games then it's like: "Yeah, you know, maybe it's 3,70€ on Steam, but my grandma appraised it at 50€."

that's the thing.most people on barter use graymarket prices for trades.probably doesnt help some of the bigger traders trades unbundled stuff for bundled stuff using this prices.

well...it's indeed a one stupid person, what can I say 🤷‍♂️
btw, that bot moment of mine - they've tried to give another key (but it was a dupe again), after what we both deicded to cancel our trade w/o any hard feelings. I guess it's a matter of chance will you get a nice trader or an insane person there:unsure:🤭

There are so many variables to trading that you can't summarize it so easily. Regional pricing is huge in such decisions. Depending on the game, a south american or turk may have a much cheaper store price you can't see (unless you check steamdb) so what you think is a fair offer, to them, is a loss. Generally, people are looking for profitable trades, not equal ones. You'll have a much higher chance of acceptance if the game you offer to them is one they can't buy cheaply anywhere else. I speculate that we may see big changes in attitudes once everyone hikes their prices with the steam recommended guidelines, or worse, since no one will have much advantage anymore.

Barter is infested with resellers, since it automates a lot of the work they do - preying on newcomers who have no sense of value - easily stripping them of high ticket items to throw up on kinguin and such other sites. On the flipside, reselling is annoying work, charging you for listing, service fees, withdrawl fees, and maybe even taxes depending on the site. It's not as simple as people make it out to be.

Most of the time, these are buy on demand services - they don't have the keys, they are "doing you a favor" for a fee. If you push them on the source of their keys, they'll usually cite some official retailer which could be a complete lie, you have no way to verify.

Game Vault open: https://na.alienwarearena.com/marketplace/game-vault

Edit: Error 503 - Backend is unhealthy, Keep trying / refreshing
Edit 2: Already got mine, still looking good.(y)
KSP 2 Out of stock
Today I have to give AWA some props. I completely forgot about the Vault, lol. Logged in 11 minutes late, and everything except KSP2 was still there. Managed to get Deceive Inc. which was my first choice (and my first ever claim from the Vault!)

Hotel Renovator and Voodolls also looked super interesting. It was a tough choice. It's too bad you can only get one game per month, I have enough ARP to get all 3 games I wanted, lol!

Congrats on the successful claims!

I decided to pass on the Vault this month. Nothing of interest to me even though I have enough points.

Oooh, if I knew Hotel Renovator also came with the DLCs, that might have swayed me a little bit. Oh well, still happy I actually got something for once!
