Just got scammed on steamtrades by this asshole impersonating another user.
If you get contacted by chat, always check if you are friends with that person.

What pisses me off, is that I had a tab opened to the legit guy and one of the impersonator and clicked the wrong tab. 🤬

Worst of all, I'm going to disappoint Batman.
If you can, write on his profile that he's a scammer.

Trade Reputation for Steam User 76561199000206809 (steamtrades.com)

Just take a look there... I'm surprised he isn't banned by Steam or something since usually they take care of them. I wonder if anyone reported him to Steam support

First result is trojan
:ROFLMAO:
it be a AV false alarm?
It wasn't the AV that alerted me, it was something that happened when I loaded it up. I scanned it after the fact.

And If I scanned it, it was with either Norton or Malwarebytes, slight possibility it was AVG back then, but I usually still double check.

I don't use websites to scan for that exact reason lol.
I played that game on Steam a long time ago - no problems whatsoever. I guess it's about PC configuration? Pretty fun game, with turn-based combat and a visual novel story style.
Not beyond possible, as i said...I wasn't stating a fact, just a personal observation.

I was obviously interested in the game if it ended up on my system even long enough to come to this conclusion...maybe I'll give it another go sometime and see if my opinion has changed.

Just sharing my thoughts on it, I can't be sure one way or another at the moment...when it happened I was only concerned with my own PC, so I didn't dig into it enough to be sure 🤷‍♂️

I'm just sorry you got scammed tbh.

P.S.

I added them to my S-hit list for you for a rainy day ;)

But that profile is horrible, its obviously a secondary account used for BS. Getting them banned would be a slap, but I doubt the name means shit to them at all, I've seen plenty of shifty scumbags, but those are the worst stats I've ever comes across.
