Its Megaman (Megawoman?), on crack.
I recall someone here saying it was made by the same people, sure as hell feels like it...ya know, if one of the devs played the original game for ten years straight doing speed runs against another one of the devs while tripping on LSD and Shroom's. Holy shit is this game psychotic
The very first level pits you against a phoenix on multiple moving platforms and holes in the floor...mind you this is after I danced on clouds (platforms really) rising higher and higher to get there. I'm not sure if there was an entrance on the lower level as well since I seem to take an off the path route early on to get up there and got some extra shit for doing it as far as I know.
Its literally Mega-Chic and a Zero wannabe you can choose between before even starting the level after the tutorial, I chose to take my bust a nut blaster and I'm glad I did with all the flying enemies, although a sword may have been easier in this case.
Not gonna lie, my hearts still pumping a little fast from all the airborne acrobatics I was forced to do during the FIRST fucking level...felt like I was playing NFS The Run
Needless to say, anyone who can still survive in the classic games should give this game a run for sure, I enjoyed it but I had to save and quit to avoid heart palpitations after that test run.
I played on Steam obviously, had minor issues setting my screen resolution because of G-Sync but other than that my controller worked fine and the game ran smooth aside from some slight stutters on the loading screen only.
Everything down to the music was megaman-ish so I have to assume the original devs had a hand in this...or its the best damn knock off I've ever come across
Nothing else to say really, its Megaman with a twist and new character skins, along with an auto charge (nice) heh...the evil incarnate version of it.
