I hate all LG TVs because when you pause a movie on them, it automatically continues playing after 10 minutes and there is no way to cancel it except by throwing it out the window! I hope this monitor is not as dumb as its TV cousins

Nope, has a setting for auto sleep which can be set to never (and works), and pretty much no other "Smart Stupid" controls at all, just speed, sexiness, AMD/Intel compatibility, and the newer HDMI port to reach 155hz (it does overclock lol) using either HDMI or DisplayPort instead of just DisplayPort (I use DP anyways) so it CAN also be used as a TV or Gaming console Monitor.

You literally can't find any other monitor that has G/Free-Sync combined at 4K 144hz unless your rich, monitors from LG are truly one of a kind and they are godly.

My last monitor was an LG as well, didn't have G or Free Sync, had "Dynamic Action Sync" only...and that fucking thing still blazed at 144hz without any tearing the entire time I owned it...I doubt I could a difference if it did have G-Sync.

Its one stupid feature is a fucking LED panel on the back that causes it to get too hot too fast sometimes...but nothing keeping the rest of the area generally cool can't solve

I would have literally bought that the last sale, but I missed it by three hours...once I realized Octopath traveller was over my price range, Crisis Core was my backup game...gg.deals said I was three hours past the HL price
