I think the gift should be in your inventory.
And if you go to your inventory and select your gift there, there will be a button or something to sent it.

i redeemed the complete flatout pack and since i have one of them (flatout) it went into my inventory,for some reason it has region restriction now,besides that i could either send it through email or through friend list
