lol yes they don't use a server for multiplayer but they use blockchain system so they avoid servers costs I guess.
there is also a single player campaign, the blockchain system "shouldn't" be used in that case I guess. With a firewall it's possible to block game connections and see if it works in single player.
I found also there are two more games single play only without blockchain from the same serie, they are paid games in this case but have good reviews.

yes nobody knows what is the reality, I won't trust it:LOL: but there are people who doesn't care and install it anyway. If someone really wants to try it, I suggest to block the game connection with a firewall and see if SP still works.
