Yeah and also they are meant to be played thousands of hours and grind. The main problem with 99,99% of MMOs (for me, at least) is a really weak story and generic quests. The whole point of almost every MMO isn't to captivate your attention with lore, characters or the world itself (although developers are claiming differently). Every MMO is: "Go pick 10 X" or "Kill 5 Y", "Clear that cave/dungeon", "You can't kill that guy if you don't group up with 5 other players" and so on... And you don't care about those quests because you're not doing anything important for a character you find interesting or likeable because there are no characters in MMOs - just quest givers that you'll forget as soon as you finish your (boring) dialogue.
I think it's the same name but there are 2 editions now, but since everyone probably transferred their characters from the paid version, I guess there is only 1 now?
Yeah, as I said, the game is set in modern days and the lore is basically every (scary) urban legend (and old ones) you can think of, lots of Lovecraftian Mythos, every modern-day conspiracy theory... After all, you play as a member of one of 3 secret societies: Illuminati - who are bent on getting as much power and money no matter what (I think their HQ is in New York); Templars, protecting the secrets and guarding the "Normal" world from all kinds of monstrosities (London HQ); and Dragon - Chaos embodiment in Seoul HQ. Even the in-game description says that every time the Illuminati or Templars see an agent of Dragon, they're in a panic mode because they don't know what is Dragon agenda in that current situation.
